I used to be some closed-minded fuck when it came to music, and I hated Metallica and thought all of their songs sound the same, but lately I've grown more respect for them since i've been getting into the more Hardcore/Metalcore stuff. They are really a talented band and they have some fucking amazing instrumentals.

I dunno.. I have high hopes for 'em. Big fan of the old stuff. Load/Re-Load didn't do much for me. Kinda a bummer of a period for the band. But after reading everything lately I'm pretty amped for the new shit. Not a single bad thing said about it so far, everyone says it rips.

Anyway.. cool. Glad to see some fans on here.

ok, they've been around since 81, and changed a little on every album, something necessary for a band to progress, unfortuantley most of the bands peolpe here listen to regugitate the same one song over 10 albums.
they haven't ever played "agressive metal" before this album that didn't even come out yet
so, name some songs you heard from them.

i listen 2 the last album and i didnt like it but little biy ur going to hell is a good song they do write good music i just dont like it

metallica got me into punk, they cover the misfits alot, i got into them, then black flag, cuz i read robo also drummed for them, then the circle jerks, keith morris used to sing for black flag.... and so forth.

i completely agree, people think no band should ever change, metallica should release master of puppets 9 times and they'd be cool... i hate it when people hate a band for growing.
