oh, i'm now in austin, tx for college. i'm going to the show here nov 7th. i'm so excited! this will be my 4th time seeing them. i wish they were playing maybe memories, cut up angels, or light with a sharpened edge, but i didn't expect any of those.

i moved to lincoln and i can't afford gas to go all the way to denver again. i went there last week for brand new only to find out it was postponed. but i have a friend who went and this is the text i got from him this morning:

"the used sucked live this time. bert didn't scream at all and the vocals were turned way down like senses fail's"

That's probably one of the best Used setlists I've ever seen (it's over 10 songs). Reconsidering going to the show now.

The Used actually put on a fantastic show. Bert's lack of screaming is kinda weird, but they've been doing that since their last big headlining tour if i remember right. The Almost put a crazy amount of energy into a short but great set and ended with Monster, which is absolutely amazing if you listen to it. i missed Drive A, but I caught their very last song and it was damn good. The crowd for the St. Louis show this evening was actually very energetic once The Used took the stage. at most shows here recently, there's barely pits, crowd surfers, all that jazz, but tonight had a bit of everything and was a blast to be in.

this is a good show if you can manage to attend. all the bands on the bill are great, they sound great, and the crowd and performances are fun and reminiscent of concerts before youtube and video phones.

Bert can't scream anymore because he fucked up his vocal cords, haha. He also has ulcers, which can't help either.
Personally, I prefer Jeph screaming if it means Bert's singing voice remains intact. It was wonderful during On My Own.

Drive A were so good! I'd never heard of them before but when I saw their backdrop I was expecting some old school punk rockers or something. When they came onstage and were just a bunch of kids I was shocked, then they started playing and I was even more shocked at how spot on they were! Great musicianship.

The Almost were also fantastic. Aaron has great energy.

i saw this show last night. i wasn't impressed with drive a - they sounded and acted like 16 year olds that were excited to sing a song that said "fuck you" about 10 times. i was a little disappointed with the almost. i didn't know the new stuff very well and they ended with monster monster, which is slow and i thought it brought the energy down. the used was amazing...i don't know what else to say. the crowd was pretty nuts, but overall it was a great show! i think the setlist was pretty similar, if not identical to the one already posted, but before they played box full of sharp objects they played "don't fear the reaper" except bert was singing "come on feel my weiner."

After hearing the new album. I really hope they incorporate more of those songs into their headlining show. I wonder if they'll have any copies of the album, or artwork inspired merch.

they did play a lot of new songs tonight and i did not get a close look at their merch but they did have some monster, monster shirts!

the show was awesome though!!! it was my first time seeing them live and it was great.

Ahhh you're lucky. I'll probably just leave after they're done. Feel like I'm wasting thirty bucks because I know most of it is going to McCracken, but I really want to see The Almost! Hopefully they'll do a Monster tour soon???

This show was a ton of fun! The sound for the almost kinda sucked, but besides that, everyone was great

My only complaint about this show is that this was my 2nd time getting injured at a used show. The first time, I was dropped while crowd surfing and got knocked out. This time, i fell in the mosh pit and someone rolled over me, breaking my wrist in two places. Now, I have to wear a cast for 8-12 weeks and I might need surgery if the bones don't heal perfectly.

I had an amazing time at the show, despite this stupid injury and I would go through it again in a heartbeat, cuz I love the used so much. I just feel like I deserve a backstage pass or something considering I've been injured 2 out of the 4 times I've seen them lol. Or maybe I should just wear hockey pads at their shows from now on haha

Some people have been telling me that I'm an idiot because of this... I just tell them I'm a hardcore fan.
