I'm a real big fan of the type of dark and poetic punk/ post-hardcore that was offered by AFI from 1999-2003. I haven't found anything too similar to it (though I haven't really looked) and it'd be great to find another band who offered the same sort of stuff.
Also, I'm fond of The Academy Is...'s debut album. What other pop punk bands do the whole 'Almost Here' act?
