The Autumn Offering (http://www.victoryrecords.com) released their new album, Embrace The Gutter, yesterday. Below you can read their new bio as well as check out their upcoming dates with such acts as Kittie (http://www.myspace.com/kittie) and CKY (http://www.myspace.com/cky).
Amidst the contrasting landscapes of beautiful beaches, sleazy tourist traps
and NASCAR tracks in Florida's Daytona Beach, a burgeoning metal and
hardcore scene thrives alongside the overly tanned, the white trash and the
elderly. The extremes of the local sunshine and image of perfection
projected upon the outside world, contrasted with the gritty reality of the
blue collar lifestyle, inspired The Autumn Offering to conceptualize the
reality of the everyman with their prominent new metal album Embrace The
Gutter. The album was produced by Jason Suecof, known for his work with God
Forbid and Trivium.

The Autumn Offering's thunderous, groove-laden brand of heavy metal recalls
the early days of classics like Metallica and Pantera and the band will stop
at nothing in their quest to kick start a new era in genuine metal. Robbins
explains that the main goal for The Autumn Offering is to be "a breath of
fresh air for those who are depressed, frustrated, and are looking for a
screaming voice they can relate to."

Embrace The Gutter is already turning heads in the press and radio worlds -
look for ink in Revolver, Alternative Press, Decibel and Chord Magazine.
Radio spins are just getting started: the title track debuted at #19 on the
FMQB Metal Detector. To celebrate the release, The Autumn Offering head out
on tour with Kittie, and follow that select dates in June with CKY.

The Autumn Offering has perfected a dynamic blend of metal styles that
expresses their outrage against the shallow beach culture and vacuous values
of southern Florida. What makes them stand out from the pack is their
seamless blend of the mind-boggling solos and rock & roll stylings of heroes
like Guns N' Roses with traditional metal's darker outlook. Fans of every
generation of metal will find a lot to love about The Autumn Offering.w/ Kittie
