Who's Forgive Durden? Do they have any relation to the topic about a band called Forgive Durden a day ago?

Seriously, why does everyone get all pissed about someone posting something that was posted a day or two ago? If someone already posted it, then just ignore the new post.

i agree. it's a forum elitist thing that kids do to look cool/funny.

well, in the general forum, it's stupid, because a thread disappears after 30 minutes.

But, I remember we had 3 Popaganda threads on the front page of this forum at one point, and it was annoying seeing just those, knowing that things like band rec's and other album discussions were pushed off the page for it.

im with you it has nothing to do with "elitism" its just annoying in a small forum like this to not have one big discussion instead of like 3 small ones

Its not to look cool at all weber. its to help make the forum run better. why have several threads about 1 topic? honestly. this thread is a great example, a forgive durden wonderland thread was on the front page of the pop forum. i'd rather and i think everyone else would rather check one thread instead of two. it just makes things much easier. if you make fun of someone about it, they will stop doing it, thats just how it goes.

whatever, i don't believe for one second that you say "search function" on your own...you say it because everyone else does it, and it's just a big joke between people that have been around for a while. nobody is going to use the search function if they want to talk about something, and to revive an old thread rarely does any good. meh

I agree with Scott. It is pretty easy to ignore a thread. You don't have to come and rip someone apart just because they want to talk about a cd.

Umm, I don't consider myself "elite"...I prefer 1337.

im not trying to start a fight with you scott. thats not what i try to do on forums, especially(sp) to you. i think your cool and give great discussion. but no, i dont use the search function, that was a joke. but when your in a sub-forum, you should at least acknowledge the fact their was a wonderland thread a few threads down.

I didn't think it was very impressive. I only liked a few songs.

Maybe it's just not my type.

It has been growing on me though. Maybe I'll like it eventually.

I remember seeing Forgive Durden about 4 months ago, and I knew nothing about them. I didn't see their whole set but I remember when they played "Il Tango..." every other band's drummer that was playing that night came out with buckets and drummed to the ending. I thought it was awesome.

I haven't completely gotten into it yet. I've only listened to it 4 or 5 times through, but it has grown on me a lot since the first listen.

It's going to be the Anberlin of this year to me...a good ablum that would probably find my end of the year list, but it go sandwiched in other albums I loved (last year is was TAI, Gym Class Heroes, Mae, and something else...this year it's The Format, and about 20 other bands that I've found through this forum)

I probably won't even play it again til I accidentally find it again in the fall

yeah, I like it...and it has a few songs I may play to break up the other CD's...but I doubt it.

Especially once GAD hits...this will disappear to me

Haha. I actually clicked on the link, hoping that a band named "Search Function" actually exists. Alas, they don't.
