damn, screw phones. i prefer the internet where you dont need to stress out your vocal cords....
i like talking on the phone with girls. half the time i don't have to say anything. i don't think anybody else calls them. cause they just talk and talk and talk. but i like listening so it's all good.

i HATE talking on the phone.
i never answer it because i am afraid i will have to talk for a long time. and its just confusing because there are 2 emilys living here and i'll answer it and the person will be like "emily?" (meaning my stepsister) and i will be like "yea?" and then theyll continue to go on talking like they know me and then i just get all flustered and i dont know whether i should pretend that i am emily my step-sister or should i tell the truth and say theyve got the wrong emily?? so i have stopped answering it. as a matter of fact, it is ringing right now.
i hate making phone calls too. ive been wearing the same pair of contacts for over a month now because i dont wanna call my eye doctor people to order more...is this bad?

I have anxiety attacks when the phone rings. Don't feel bad, kid.

i was living in the dorms at the school i went to last year and one day this woman claiming to be my "aunt kate" called me. i didnt think much of it at the time because i do have an aunt kate. and then she started asking me about things that i had no clue about. and she asked about my french class and i have never taken french in my life. BUT, because i have this phone anxiety thing, i played along. apparently, this woman had gotten the wrong emily's phone number. so eventually we hung up and this "aunt kate" was probably feeling pretty good to have just chatted with her "niece emily." little did she know...bwa-ha-ha
anyway, theres more.
couple weeks later, she calls again. this time with news that my parents are battling raccoons in my basement at home. i was pretty sure this wasnt happening at MY house. and eventually we hung up. by this time i had told this story to my whole unit and it was a jolly good time.
and THEN this "emily"s grandmother decides to call....sheesh people, leave emily alone!! so i played along with her too.
ANYway, second semester i moved out of that room and into another room with another friend. "finally!", i thought, "free at last from the nuisance of pretending to be another emily."
BUT no. my old roommate decided to give the old hag my new number. so finally i ended it there. i was tired of playing these foolish games. and i said "lady, you got the wrong number." not in those exact words....and thats the end.
whats the moral you ask? DONT ANSWER THE PHONE
