taylor hicks (the 29 year old old gray haired guy) actually has a decent band in birmingham, al called the taylor hicks band. he plays a pretty good lead guitar and they typically play a bunch of cover tunes like the allman bros and bluesy such stuff. my point here, the show does suck, but taylor's a pretty good fella and he actually has musical talent, so my vote goes to him as well.

Uhhh if I were an AI producer I'd be rigging it for Kat to win...she's a generic pretty white girl that can mold into whatever they wanna cash her in for - pop, pop rock, adult contemporary, jazzy/bluesy, etc. She also works her "assets" when things get desperate, and I'm sure that the producers have taken note. She'll be an easy cash cow. Taylor and Chris, however, would have been harder to mold. Diehard fans would still buy whatever crap AI makes them put out, but to the average listener it will just sound awkward and unnatural and cheesy. I wish Elliott made it through. He would have benifited from winning the most of all. He'll PROBABLY get a decent record deal, but it's a no brainer that no matter what, Chris, Taylor, and Kat will all get deals left and right. whateva.
