This man is my favorite thinker alive today. I'm currently reading his book The Parallax View. If you don't know who he is, check out this documentary.

I watched that entire Marxism conference speech/debate video that you posted and loved it. I had known some of the things he'd said and some of the things he thought, but I wasn't aware he was such an emotional speaker. I will watch this when I get the chance.

Dude, Zizek makes absolutely no sense. He's a hack.

This, I have to be honest. I've read some of his stuff for my Jurisprudence class and it wasn't great. But then, I'm not a fan of postmodern-esque stuff at all.

His new books sounds awesome.

Deleuze is awesome, but I prefer Lacan. However, Lacan has very little to do with what Zizek and Deleuze talk about.

This is one of my favorite Zizek interviews. Handles himself very well.

Bump, I wish my library carried First as Tragedy, Then as Farce.

Has anyone here got around to reading any of his newest books? I'm about half-way through First As Tragedy, and slowly moving through Living in the End Times. Loving both of them so far. His criticism of the Left is spot on. Then again, that is a bias statement, because I believe just about everything Žižek says/writes is spot on.
