i thought they sucked when i saw them at warped tour. maybe they just had an off day or i was too exhausted when i saw them, since they were toward the end. either way, i've seen videos of them and their screamer is decent, but their singer is horrible. that, i know wasn't just bad at my show, but is bad at all of their shows.

anyways, i'm going to this when it comes through austin. i'm not dying to see any specific band, but it seems like an overall good show. i guess i'm most excited for our last night.

when they played in NJ (oceanport) warped... the crowd went nuts. they were solid that day and since i was up front. i was drenched in sweat and was so exhausted after their set.

can't wait only 12 days.

i saw them a couple weeks ago, and BY FAR the greatest crowd experience i've ever had.

it was 24/7 moshing and pushing, their singer was pretty good..didn't sing as high but obviously cause it's autotuned.

the link above is stick stickly along with their ENTIRE setlist, i recorded everything haha.

nick is surprisingly a REALLY GOOD SCREAMER...not as good as austin, but i like austin more than 99% of screamers lol.

i DEFINITELY recommend seeing them.

The hype on AA! is fake. They really are quite terrible live. I've seen them a few times live opening for other bands. I didn't expect much since they're basically just a boyband in it for the sex (No joke they tried to take advantage of a friend of mine at Denver Warped), but yeah the singer can't sing and the screamer is a joke. The part that really gets me about them is they're all really full of themselves. Waste of space.

But yeah, you can expect the same crabcore bullshit they've been playing for a year. It's great that people have actually christend that teabagging a title. Makes it less unbearable to know I wasn't the only one suffering from witnessing it.

And yeah, ironically I'm pretty sure ISMFOF opened the last time I saw AA! I knew some people that were really into them so I really wanted to give them a chance, and when they came up to me after and were like "WAY RAD BRO! RIGHT!?" I had to admit "No, sorry, very very awfu....they're a joke right? Please christ."

How were you gonna go to THIS, but since Austin left you wont... Theres been like 5 tours since that time.. How is this the one you WERE gonna go to

And about other above comments.. I agree that they got pretty full of themselfs. Jon (the asian) seems like he would be cool peeps, and Andrew (the main crab core tatted up dude). Nick... I dont see why everyone hates on him so much.. Its obvious he doesnt know how to act in a interview, but screaming...I dont think hes THAT bad.. There are many worse. He seems full of himself though.

Oh and for the record.. ISMFOF has to be one of the worst "bands"( if you wanna even give them that much credit) ever in life

Agreed, however I somewhat agree with what he says, I don't really have a problem people coming in and expressing hate for one or so bands on the tour but expressing interest in another, but when people come to a tour and say it's pure garbage and every band sucks then why come into the thread? Not saying your doing that at all, just aimed towards many posters on here that do it.

Edit: And I KNOW that this is by no means a legitimate source, but kids are freaking out on the AA myspace page with some rumor that Craig Owens is the new vocalist? That would make no sense for the style of music they play. Most likely a dumb rumor, but still intriguing

If you read the part that says "death growls" or some shit like that, that doesnt mean hes the lead vocalist. Someone just didnt know what to label the backround growling type singing. He plays the keyboard, and does some background vocals...They better step on this singer situation FAST if there gonna be headlining this tour

EDIT: when I said "it doesnt mean..." I was NOT trying to sound like a dick. I reread it and it seemed like it could be taken the wrong way. I was just saying that if thats the part you read then Caleb is still "death growls".
oh and on another note.. My friend is friends with Nick on myspace. She said that Nick said he just wanted change, talked to the band last week and there is no beef.

Yea. AA! should get Jerry Roush, the old SEA screamer/singer. Not only was he a great frontman, SEA is close to AA in that both use electro/metalcore music, although SEA is far more advanced at it. Plus he could sing live, unlike the current AA clean vocalist

Honestly... That was the first person I thought of since hes no longer a part of SEA.. BUT. There will be a large amount of haters due to a blog posted on SEA's site about bands who covered a song to get famous, and hella people (rightfully) suspected he meant AttackAttack!. he came out and said he was NOT talking about ADTR when people mentioned them (probably because too many people LOVE ADTR and would hate on anyone dissing them), but yea. They stated the reason for covering Nookie, and then said they do not respect those who covered tracks to get famous fast

Then they said they do not respect any band who makes a cover to boost themselves into fame. Which led most people to point the finger at Miss May I (covering Swing), In Fear and Faith (Gangstas Paradise), but most of all Attack Attack! (I kissed a girl). Almost everyone and there momma who commented that blog by SEA said Attack Attack!. In Fear & Faith hasn't really gotten popular off of their cover song and ADTR definitely did, but that was a joke that Victory banked in and shoved down everyone's throat.

Covering songs is cool and all because it's kind of nice to see bands play songs from genres I don't really listen to that much (most covers i've never or rarely heard the original), so the hate is kind of unwarranted...they're just kind of fun and all. But I do agree when bands use it as the way to get popular or if a band just makes a cover so horrible, yet becomes popular (Crank Dat anyone).

In the end, if the band is doing it just because they find it fun then you can't really blame them.

Violent Attack Attack shows FTW.

They've played here like four times and back in January it was crazy. Somehow there was a full venue (we got hit with about a foot of snow, you couldn't drive over 25-30 on the highways that night cause they were all snow) and every time a breakdown hit you knew about at least 5 kids were getting punched in the head...the pit was the safest place all night. I cut open my finger, hurt my hand and had a huge baseball sized bruise on my elbow all from just hitting kids all night with everyone

We had Detroit kids bitching that this shit doesn't happen in Michigan, I had a good laugh at that.

It's funny that you say this, because they play to a track. I remember hearing the dude screaming at warped, but there was another more gutteral scream layered over it

Ideally the order for me would go

Miss May I
Our Last Night
Attack Attack!
The Color Morale
ISMFOF

I saw this show last night, and ideally, I would have put it about where it was... maybe giving OLN a higher spot in the order. I didn't get to see The Color Morale, sadly. We got there just as they had ended. I've seen Our Last Night 3 times now, and I have to say... they sound worse every time for some reason. The vocalist really has trouble hitting notes. He sounds like he's straining his voice everytime he sings... but, one thing I can give them credit for, is that you can actually hear their vocalist. The other 3 bands, you could hardly hear the clean vocals.

Miss May I... they have great energy on stage, and the crowd last night was really shitty. They were so obviously there for ISMFOF, it was kind of sad. I think I'm a bigger fan of Miss May I now than I was before, but the vocalist THEY use also can't sing. The vocals weren't very loud, so they were drowned out by the guitar a lot of the night, but he sounded like shit when I could hear him. I was disappointed by that, but the guy who screamed sounded great, and they had a huge amount of energy, so they were very memorable.

I Set My Friends On Fire was the band I was really not wanting to see. All I really had heard by them was a couple of songs on MySpace around the time Crank That was big, and I had the Crank That cover on my iPod still, and I thought of them as a shitty BrokeNCYDE style artist... then, when they came on stage- I knew I was going to be right. They had a drummer, and a guitarist... no bassist... not a second guitarist.. not a keyboardist... just the drummer, guitarist, and vocalist. Then, they started their set. Immediately I changed my opinion. The guy who screamed was fantastic at that. The autotune kind of bothered me, but the guitarist knew how to play guitar, and they sounded just fine with what they had. I'm sure they had a lot of backtrack type of shit, but they played a lot better than I expected.

Attack Attack! was just what you would think they'd be. Maybe actually a little better. The new guy screaming was kind of boring. I had this idea in my head of how every song would sound, because I have heard the album multiple times, and he didn't scream like the record (obviously). He has a low scream going for him, and it doesn't have much "range" to it, if you could call it that for screams. Overall, they were still Attack Attack!. Love them or hate them, you got what you paid for last night. It was worth 13 dollars, imo. I wish I could have seen The Color Morale. I love their record.

Who's the new AA! vocalist out of curiousity?
I think its their keyboradist/synths Caleb, instead of playing keys on this tour hes doingt full vocals and theirs a backtrack from an ipod playing his techno parts during the show.

Im kinda curious to see how Caleb handles having the whole stage to work with, too bad I could never get any of my friends to go to this with me lol.

That should be interesting.

Another vocalist left? And Wikipedia has Caleb Tromo listed as the temporary guy, any clue who that is?

Edit: And I KNOW that this is by no means a legitimate source, but kids are freaking out on the AA myspace page with some rumor that Craig Owens is the new vocalist? That would make no sense for the style of music they play. Most likely a dumb rumor, but still intriguing

caleb is the keyboardist now the vocalist

I really cant see it being that great with him on lead. I mean he was good as the background shit, but yea.

Anyone got setlists. AttackAttack kept there shit the same since they started touring so thats no big deal, but if anyone has Miss May I or Color Morale setlists thatd be great. I can assure you The Color Morale will be playing Hummanequin.

i set my friends on fire IMO were really good.
attack attack!...personally i think caleb should stay the vocalist. i think he had better stage presence then austin and way more than nick.
their new song sexual man chocolate is their heaviest song yet.

11/1 Fort Lauderdale

The Color Morale
Where One Was Desolate
A Sponge in the Ocean
Close Your Eyes and Look Away
Hopes Anchor
The Sage Of Washington Oaks
Humannequin

Pretty sure that was the setlist...I think, haha. Resource:Recourse may have been in there too.

Our Last Night
New Song
Recovery
Symptoms of a Failing System
I Have Fought a Measureless Battle
Carry Me to Safety(new song)
Escape

Miss May I
Apologies are for the Weak
Architect
Not Our Tomorrow
Swing (cover)
Porcelain Wings
Forgive and Forget
A Dance With Aera Cura

Really enjoyed majority of the show. TCM, OLN, and MMI owned the night. Our Last Night's new songs sounded very good, the opening song they played seemed to have a Devil Wears Prada vibe to it. I didn't like ISMFOF at all, it was basically their hometown show but there were people around me bashing them and yelling shit at them which I thought was hilarious, haha. Miss May I in my opinion had a better reception than they did. Attack Attack! was enjoyable live but still not really a fan of them. Caleb has sweet vocals though.

went to this last night in omaha
great show minus i set my friends on fire. still don't understand the hype for this band.
attack attack was a lot better this time around. they sucked this last summer. theyre whole set was just like a big breakdown though. too many breakdowns, just saying. the new songs were sloppy but they sounded a lot more mature than the stuff they are playing now, which is good i guess if your a fan of them. personally i don't like them. it took them damn near close to an hour to set up. that really kinda pissed me off.
miss may i was sick. vocals were really bad though. sounds nothing like cd. but stage presence wise, they were fun to watch.
the color morale was VERY good. impressed me. nice dudes. showered at my place after wards and found out this was there first tour. needless to say i was overly impressed for this being their FIRST tour. great band and cant wait to see more out of them in the future.
our last night was amazing as always. the new songs sounded REALLY good. tervors balls finally dropped fully so he doesnt sound like he is 14 anymore. hooray for puberty.

merch was really expensive. 20 dollars for shits. 40 dollar hoodies.

tonight was pretty bomb if I do say so myself. It started off kinda bad during the Color Morale.. They had a great set BUT the crowd was a mixof hardcore dancers and pitters so people were getting punched left and right. I was suprized to see the room split in 2 for I set my friends on fire... they were fucking completely terrible, which is better than what I expected by their recorded shit.

saw this show in nyc. Miss May I killed it! best of the night imo. ISMFOF was ok.. could've been a much worse gimmicky noise band like blood brothers or #12.. so i cant complain too much. attack attack was pretty damn good, but could def use a new singer after this tour. dude cant just come out looking like he just rolled out of bed and do that same low scream all the time if the band is gonna progress at all. all in all a pretty sweet tour though.

ISMFOF had like 2 extra dudes playing guitar/bass tonight in Louisville. I thought they did a really good job and I enjoyed myself. I can't really speak on the other bands because I'm not really familiar but no one seemed to do a bad job. The crowd loved Attack Attack!

Off the top of my head (not complete):
Beerholder
ASL
Ravenous
WTFWJD
Nuns
Orange

I'm missing a song or two but I know for sure that ISMFOF opened with Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beerholder and (much to my delight) closed with Things That Rhyme With Orange.

In the middle of the set Nabil said something along the lines of "I bet you guys are wondering why we have two extra guys. I'll tell you later." He never told us. I know one of the guitarists was the drummer of the band that played before ISMFOF (Miss May I?).

Good setlist for them, I guess.

Maybe when he said "I'll tell you later", maybe he meant you had to go find him after their set, then asked him then, maybe?

Yea thats true... For this tour mostly. When Nick was the singer I think I only saw that once.
But the only problem for Caleb is he needs to work on breath control or some shit because in the ILLINOIS show he only sang like 20% of each song haha

they would be awesome if Austin came back...but he's obviously doing better (imo) with Of Mice & Men, and i see more potential with Of Mice & Men!

i actually saw Nick's last show, which was pretty cool because nobody knew it was his last lol, he was def. a good screamer!

nick kinda sucks. hes an unintelligiable douchebag who cant handle himself in an interview. have you seen some of his interviews from warped tour? it was painful to watch. i dont think hes a good screamer anyway. attack attack dosent deserve austin carlile back, but attack attack desperately needs a new, iconic screamer. nick wasnt near what austin was. caleb would only be worse than nick IMO

ISMFOF suprised me. they aren't anything amazing but there screamer is good. i saw them at warped tour then kinda forgot aboit them. i think ill give them a look now.

Miss may i was sweet. they killed it.

attack attack was good also. caleb is differant as a vocalist. he has a good low but doesnt go high. thats not bad its just very differant from austin. they should consider getting a high screamer to compliment caleb. overall they put on a good show
