I am VERY open minded. Recommend me anything. I like genres such as post-hardcore, post-rock, indie pop, indie rock, hipster indie, hardcore punk, punk rock and anything in between. DO NOT recommend me something popular, because I will have already given them a listen. I'd prefer to be recommended specific albums. View my profile for an idea of bands I enjoy. NO METALCORE.

Listened to Mike Ness's solo stuff if you haven't...
Also, Weather box's new album "The Cosmic Drama" is great if you like stuff like Piebald.
Other suggestions:
CookBook "I Love the 80's" (Hip-Hop... search and you'll fuind this album free on his website)
Derek Webb "Stockholm Syndrome" (Indie Rock with tons of difference influences from Trip-Hop to Folk)
Telegraph Canyon "The Tide and The Current" (along the lines of Arcade Fire)
K-Flay "MASHed Potatoes" (Free mixtape, enjoyable samples with good vocals... tons of fun)
Seriously? That is the first band on my profile page.
I don't care enough to look at someone's profile

It's too obviously a spam type message and people will be alot less likely to check it out that if you add soemthign to the convo and are honest about how you are in a aband that you think they'd dig.
PS. If you email me your EP at justincharlesharlan@gmail.com I can try to get you a review on my site (thepaintedman.com) in the near future.

I already knew about all of these except for Now, Now Every Children. I checked them out, wasn't interested. Anything else?

I've never heard of any of these except the bolded. I couldn't get into any of them, I guess I'm not that much of a folk guy. Nothington was alright but not worth an add to my collection.

I have the bolded. I really do need to give Sunset Rubdown a chance, been putting them off for too long. None of the others interests me.

I have the bolded. I had both Storyboards, Animals and time is fiction at one point, couldn't get into them. There's a few in there I know I'm not interested in, but I'll give Maggot, paper rival, mansions and so long forgotten a chance.

Yeah, definitely check them out. Dragonslayer is phenomenal and their last effort Random Spirit Lover is also great - awesome live band too. It's a shame you didn't dig the others though, Local Natives and Grammatics are both superb.
