i don't really think stores will be physically carrying anything in the first place.. the deal is more so that people shopping in a store who aren't comfortable with the internet can special order the cd through the store. the store (if they do business with super d) goes through them to get to cdbaby's stock, and your cd goes straight to that customer who asked for it. it's kind of oddly phrased though, the original press release, and a lot of people got the idea that their cd was just going to pop up in thousands of stores nationwide. still very cool though, i'm glad people will be able to special order it if they're not into the whole "credit card on the internet" thing.

it sounds like stores COULD order in cds if they wanted, but probably wouldn't unless it was special ordered by their customer.

but that's still really f'n cool. yay for cdbaby.

finally!!! but i still doubt some stores will carry some of their cds...there should be like advertisements, posters, and promotional tools saying CDBaby albums available or we carry CDBaby-all over the place hehehe
