Green Day (http://www.absolutepunk.net/greenday) have begun work on some new projects. In a statement from the band's website they announce, “We have started to get together and work on a bunch of cool projects. It is a very creative time for us and we look forward to working on them for the next year or so.”

It's about time. As much as I liked American Idiot, that shit has been played into the ground. Some new material from them would be good for everybody. Hm. The way they say "cool projects" instead of like "new material for a new album" makes me think they have something up their sleeve.

yeah green day have gotten kind of a god-complex like all of those other bat-shit crazy liberal musicians who live in a fantasy world and think that they are intelligent enough to speak on matters of a society that they simply dont live in.

I hope that it's better than American Idiot, it was good but they've gotten so full of themselves that they have pretty much become a brand to sell.
