Just got back from the first show of the tour and what they consider "the first real show we've ever played." Going in with no expectations, it was truly fucking great. Children's choir was perfect. Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields have become pretty good musicians, both with great voices. I really recommend anyone that is lucky enough to live in the cities they are stopping in to go see them, even if you don't know any of the music. Some people will most likely not give this band a real chance just because it is lead by an actor, but it is unlike anything I've ever seen live. It was very enjoyable.

Setlist out of order from what I remember probably missing songs because this list seems short:

Flowers Grow Out Of My Grave
The Room Where You Sleep
Buried In Water
Bang Bang (Nancy Sinatra cover)
Pa Pa Power
Lose Your Soul
Dead Man's Bones
My Bodies a Zombie For You
Name In Stone
Paper Ships (i think)

Go see this if they come near you.

I'm stupid and I haven't even looked up where any of their shows will be. I will definitely do this.

My friend bought us tickets to this and I went in completely blind, had no idea what the music sounded like, though my friend said it was awful. I actually really enjoyed it, and so did she. Loved the back drop behind them too. That talent show though??? Holy shit...hahaha.
