and what are some good servers & channels to get stuff off of??

haha you obviously dont understand or realize the amazingness of irc. you made me laugh...haha

irc is a trillion times better, you dont have to download each song at a time, you download full cds at a time. much easier. but hard to learn the program at first. if anyone wants it go to www.mirc.com

mirc gets the correct version of song off cds....that dont come out for months! for example i got afi before it came out, wakefield dont come out till june....nofx ep was out first on there, and every other cd you could ever think of.

and lastly, kazaa has shitty quality songs. the highest bitrate ( the higher the number the higher the quality of the song ) is 128 kbps...because thats all those stupid peer to peer programs can handle. and mirc every song on every cd is 192 kbps.

your missing out if you dont use irc.

a good server on irc is efnet. thats what everyone uses.

and some good channels to get stuff are:

#punkwhore ( but you wont be able to get it, best channel going for punk music and pop punk , emo , hardcore etc....they made an invite list a while back which means only people who are on the list (theres about 200) are allowed in to get music, which im lucky enough to be on.

fuck ya....irc rocks my world, you just have to get used to it, ask people how to use shit...i use efnet...good channels i use= punkfoo, altrock, punkmp3...i use punkwhore but that is invite only now

I am outa the whole MIRC stage, that was when I spent all my time on my computer, I still go on when I want a full album which is barley never when I dont buy it
