Anyone like the new cd?

I've heard about half and I like it so far.

Haven't heard it.

I really didn't expect much. I'm listening to it for the first time now and I'm halfway through and I really like it.

I got a chance to see them live last summer, I enjoyed it.

I listened yesterday but I only got through the first 2 tracks before switching to the new Rise Against.

(I get extremely put off by 30 minute albums and 2 minute songs, which is one of the reasons I didn't listen to all of the GR cd).

I did like the first 2 songs though.

I'm trying to get over the fact that the album is short.

I like it a lot. New Rise Against is better though in terms of punk music--that album is amazing.

my review is going to be posted tonight or tomorrow night, or sometime soon.

i'm disappointed in the album. it has some strong tracks and the weak tracks aren't that bad, its just extremely forgettable in the end.

But new Good Riddance is still awesome regardless!

I was really disappointed in this album. The first thing I ever heard by them was Bound by Ties of Blood and Affection, and that album was nothing but vicious punk songs. The new one just lacked that intensity.

not likely to release live DVD (http://www.punknews.org/article/27493) - rats!

but the live album sounds pretty sweet.

band so worthy of a bump.

I can't wait for Russ to get his shit together and release a solo album already. Song on myspace (http://www.myspace.com/russrankinmusic) is great.

^ good one, my favorite is still A Comprehensive Guide to Moderne Rebellion. So many styles, and perfect covers.

It's the only album from them that I own. Found it used for 6 bucks back in January. Score.

I'll check out a few more of their records soon.

Finally got around to listening to For God And Country. I like it but not as much as Operation Phoenix. That record is so fucking angry.

Yeah, I know... it's kind of weird. I like their aggressive style a lot more.

What are some of their harder records aside from Operation Phoenix?

I only like God and Country, Comprehensive Guide, and My Republic....and the two poppy songs form Ballads from the Revolution. So I'm probably not the best person to ask on their harder stuff.

Bumpin' A Comprehensive Guide to Modern Rebellion right now. I was late to the party on this band...

But I remember picking up this disc in 2000 at my local record store, tossing it into my car's CD player and thinking: "Holy fuck! Finally! Something fast!" This album still remains one of my favorite hardcore releases of all-time. Top Ten, easily.

easily one of my favorite albums (http://rateyourmusic.com/list/justinstacy/favorite_albums____of_my_lifetime_) , and by far their best. wish they'd have kept this sound going instead of hte repetitive 'hardcore' they turned into.

My favorite album is Symptoms of a Leveling Spirit. I also love their split with Kill Your Idols (but those 3 KYI songs steal the cake).
