Stream it here. (http://www.22tracks.com/#/disco/1/)

Anyone else listen yet? Epic! And though it's a cover, it's so signature LCD Soundsystem that it hurts.

He definitely has a specific style that isn't really for everyone. As a fan of his band and his record label though, I'm always anticipating what he releases next.

It's pretty interesting when you listen to it next to the original though. Such a transformation.

Hmm well I guessed I've never really listened to a whole lot of his stuff.
Maybe I'll check it out and be surprised. What do you recommend I start with?

Sound of Silver. That album is awesome and you should like it even if you don't like the rest of their stuff/the genre.

Am I the only one that was much more excited when I clicked that link and the first thing I saw was a Morgan Geist remix?

Sound of Silver is definitely a great record. The track "All My Friends" goes down as one of my favorite songs ever. And I mean ever. It's been out for so long and every time I listen to it I still pick up on little nuances that I never noticed before. Also, it's incredibly touching.

After that, check out the self titled. It's a little sillier, but it's fun. Also, the 45:33 track they did for Nike is great. Most of it ended up being chopped into individual songs for Sound of Silver, but it's an awesome listen in a different way than that album is, if you have the patience.
