Burlesque (2010)

A musical drama set for a Thanksgiving 2010 release about a small-town girl (Christina Aguilera) who moves to LA and gets a job at a neo-Burlesque club run by Cher. Kristen Bell recently signed on as the lead girl at the club. Stanley Tucci also stars.


I'm kind of excited to see Aguilera act, she could do very well in this role especially if there's a lot of singing, which I'm guessing there is.

Well she studied musical theatre at NYU and was on Broadway for a bit, so you'd assume she's good. I haven't heard her sing other than on Veronica Mars and when she did the Emmys. She has a great voice from what I remember though.

lord have mercy, where to begin - Christina's Wig, Christina's acting, Cher's mouth, and how did they get Stanley Tucci? And was that my beloved Kristen Bell??

I totally agree with you about the Coyote Ugly thing, except it came out 10 years ago during the prime pop star years, so it kind of worked.

But who am I kidding, I'd rather see this than another damn Sex and the City movie.

What is with Christina's voice when she's not singing? She sounds completely different.

I can't believe Cam Gigandet is still able to find films to act in worse than his previous ones.

Probably will end up watching this on DVD just for KBell.
