I agree with you about Fowler. But I don't think Kate is gone at all. At least, I wouldn't put it pass them to have Kate somehow survive the explosion.

I kind of wish that she's really dead. Neal keeps chasing her because the writers keep telling us that she's the one for him but without any on screen chemistry between them I don't buy it at all.

This might be my favorite show on TV. It's great. Neal and Peter (Matt Bomer and Tim Dekay) have great chemistry and who doesn't mind a little Tiffany Amber Thiessen? Also, I am surprised at how great of a job the supporting actors are doing. Jones and Mozzie as well as Diana, June, and Alex.

I hope Kate is dead as well, if they bring her back in any way it will hurt the show. Her being dead gives Neal something else to look for, in time to get over.

I liked this season's episodes so far. I like the way they are using Neal more in the actual crimes, more so, than they did in Season One.

I think the Kate hate is warranted. She was never really used in a sympathetic way aside from the picture (with the guy's hand on her shoulder). I'd like to believe there was actually a real reason for her death and that it will be explained. So little is really known of Kate, aside from the fact that she was Neal's love interest/girl friend. I think maybe they wanted her to be hated as everything unfolds and then we end up really missing her/showing sympathy.

The only reason I can think of is that Elizabeth is suppose to be a huge part of the show. She's the ying to Burke's yang. However, you want to put it. That's why they typically have a a phone call or in that case the lunch. I think they handled it well, and for the most part pretty clever with keeping her involved. I personally like it. I'd rather see her even if it's a phone call than her being completely gone. It's more believable.

She (Hilarie) was initially suppose to be a love interest. I'm glad they didn't go that route; I mean it could still end up that way, but at least it wasn't as spelled out. I actually like her character. She has a good rapport with Matt, as do really the entire cast with each other.

Well Kate is a main character. They could definitely kill off a supporting character, it's just super ballsy in this case. I highly doubt that Mozzie is really dead, but it's going to be pretty hard to save someone that got shot in the chest at close range.

Diana was the agent that was in the pilot, and it was mentioned then that she was a lesbian to prevent Neal from going after her. She was "transferred" because she started working on another show and they brought in Lauren until the end of season 1 when the show Diana was working on got cancelled and they brought her back. I don't think Lauren's write off was explained.

I didn't watch most of season one. I usually do that with USA shows, and if it's good enough to survive and/or I hear good enough things, I jump in. I've saved myself from watching Fairly Legal and Covert Affairs this way, even if Covert Affairs first episode was decent.

That being said, love this show, and I should probably go back and watch the old ones. It's my number 3 on USA though (1. Psych, 2. Burn Notice).

There's always parts of this show that annoys me because I'm not sure how serious it takes itself sometimes. I still love it though. One of my favorites. Tonight's finale makes me excited for where they'll take this next season.

that was such an EXCELLENT piece of television. really brought the whole series together and made me genuinely excited for next season, instead of just interested in the resolution of a cliffhanger.

also love how they just brought like four new characters into the show in the last two episodes (suave thief guy, Neil's parents, Neil's dad's former partner) and they fit in so smoothly

I completely agree about being interested in the show and not the cliffhanger. As much as it would leave open, that's the type of end I'd expect for the series as a whole, not really the outcome I want, but the style. And I'm also just as excited for more Neil back story and new suave con-man. I can definitely see some great plotlines coming up.
