Fake gore, or campy gore, or over the top gore is the best kind of gore. The 70's was where go gore is at, not that CGI shit they use now.

The scene in Dawn of the Dead where the renegade cop blows that black tenant’s head off is one of the greatest scenes of gore ever filmed. And it was done with a watermelon, pig’s blood, corn syrup, Jell-O and paper.

thats the same thing that happens in high tension. he slits her throat and almost yanks her head off and then leaves her to bleed to death. then the girl comes out of the closet and checks to see if she's breathing and she moves around and tries talking but has no voicebox. I jumped.

High Tension was pure crap, anyone who hasn’t seen don’t bother, the script is horribly written and the purposeful distortions destroy any sense of enjoyment.

Hostel = Wolf creek + Eurotriphahaha. yea but at least there is a meaning behind hostel and it isn't some pointless gore movie like alot of the garbage out there. both are great horror films, i would just rather watch hostel over audition.
