Fascinating idea for a trilogy, has anyone seen any/all of them? Going to be watching in the next couple of days, very excited. Obviously Ridley Scott's acquisition of the remake rights piqued my interest, though the story, cast and especially directors is what hooked me.

I highly recommend this. I caught the first two on TV when they aired over here, recently bought the DVD boxset so I can watch them all in sequence. The cast and writing is superb, let alone the directing from each individual director. Not happy about the Ridley Scott remake however, it's not necessary whatsoever and although it is an assumption, it will not be anywhere near as good as so often demonstrated by American remakes.

The first was good, not great. The second part is (if I can count it) one of the five or ten best films I've seen this year. Paddy Considine is pitch perfect in his role.

Are these leaked online? I'm really interested, don't know how to watch them though. Not on Netflix for me.

Couldn't agree more, Paddy Considine is so flawless in so many of his roles and this is no exception.

No, I'm still waiting to watch the third, going to watch it tomorrow in fact, looking forward to it, although I feel the second will be hard to match. How about you and if so what are your thoughts on an American remake?

Not excited about it. but im trying to figure out, the guy who killed peter at the end of part 2 isn't the same guy (david morrissey) who is the main character in part 3, right?
btw: it was nice to not need subtitles in part 2. seriously could not understand half of what was being said in part 1.

I've been excited to see these for awhile. Hopefully I can find them in DVD somewhere so I don't have to download them.

Nah they aren't the same person (sorry, super late reply). Haha, yeah I can imagine that regional accent is a bit ahrd to decipher for non-Brits.

On amazon.com they have an import from the UK for about $45, 3 DVD boxset. But it's Region 2, so as long as you have a multi-region DVD player then it's all good.
