I didn't see a thread on this...but there needs to be.

First off, putting Keanu Reeves (especially post Matrix and Break Point) into a romantic comedy is a mistake.

Second, placing them in seperate times (2 years apart, literally) is just absurd and a cheap trick

Third...is this really what movies are coming to?

I swear to god, if they tell one of the stories in black and white, so they can seperate time frames for the audience, I'll truly believe that Hollywood thinks its audience is retarded and can't seperate simple plots

I think it's a pretty interesting idea for a movie, except

1. I hate Keanu Reeves.
2. I hate Sandra Bullock.
3. It's marketed as a romantic drama. That turns me off.

That's my main hatred of the movie...but then the concept just bugged me. Like, if it was two great actors...I could see it being pulled off well, but I see it being such a cheap ploy the way they use it.

For example...their big realization line will be something along the lines of "We just live in two different times...we can never be together"

hahaha...the fact that they made a second one is bad...

I forgot they were together in Speed...this makes me believe more that this movie will be terrible
