too bad only 14 people on ap.net ever heard of this band. This is the reason i started this thread bcos i wanted to know how many people on this site enjoy genuine old school pop punk.Guys we need more voters and promote quality pop punk unlike the neon pop punk shit that is ruining music today.

Even less peeps on AP.net have probably heard of Sky Larkin and Seventh Void.
So he's got nothing to worry about :-d

I'll give Teenage Bottlerocket a looky after all, they are a real punk band.
Being on Fat Wreck Chords, gives them potential kudos.
I'll vote the recent one, black and green is a good colour scheme!

If they are good I'll buy the thread starter a beer :-)

So, I need to get into this band (I've tried with a couple of songs already, but to no avail). Maybe I should let the polls decide what songs I should be checking out.

Do all 26 year olds trying to act young spell "because" that way?I am not trying to act young and also 26 years is not the age when you grow white hair. The point of this thread is to find out how many guys know about lesser known bands like TBR.Dont make stupid irrelevant statements and if you dont like TBR get the hell out of this thread.

I didnt say you are not allowed to post but instead of saying your opinion about the band you are making pointless statement about my age.I didnt start this thread to discuss about my age.

Just listened to it, excellent song. Thanks for the suggestion. I cant get into the singer's voice, unfortunately. Other than that, great music. I hate to make this comparison, especially since I'm just basing it off of this song, but very Green Dayish, haha.

Looks like there coming here to Philly at the Barbary on the 22nd. If I had money, I'd check them out... :-(

I opted for Warning Device. Ask me in a few months and there's a very good chance that I'd be saying it was They Came from the Shadows. Time will tell...

It's all relative. Compared to the likes of Brand New and Say Anything? These dudes are miniscule. But in the realm of "pop-punk" or "Ramonescore" or whatever you want to call it, they're as big as anybody else.

You are right and they are way better than the POOP PUNK bands out there.

It's my favourite. The track "in the basement" and it's video are just examples of flawless pop punk.
