Before I had a cd player or ipod connector in a car I had to rely on the radio for fulfilling my music needs. While most bands seemed bland...here are some of the bands that kept my interest (I'm exculding classic rock bands). So which is your favorite band from this list?

Its not like these polls have anything negative to say or are crude in any manner. Right, and if you're just having fun and there's no serious connotation attached to what people think or say about your poll, then why are we even having this conversation? The fact that I stated my displeasure shouldn't mean anything if these polls are really "for fun". You shouldn't be getting defensive about what my opinion is about your poll making if it is just "for fun". But you are, and it does mean something, and we are having this conversation, which is all revealing a very embarrassing character flaw in you. If "stop making these awful polls" really turns you into this much of a mess, how do you possibly function in the real world? How do you take criticism from anyone you know if a single word of discouragement from a random anonymous member of this community sends you into this much of a tailspin? No, if anyone's not going to "make it far in life", it's going to be you. You addressed absolutely nothing I had to say in my response, and are now bantering on and on like you're a caped crusader for justice. You're still just some insecure bro getting mad at the fact that I was of the opinion you were wrong. Did you forget that polls are made with the intention of gathering opinion, and that the differing ones have just as much value and just as much right to exist as the agreeing opinion? Did you forget that your "defense" of your stupid little poll involved denying my value as a human being, and didn't actually contain any kind of defense pertaining to the topic at hand? For example, If you were to write a school paper that delt with critiquing and your responce was "Stop making these awful (blank)," then you would fail. You did not add any critism to your original post. If you said you mite want to add more variety to your poll, then that would be a critique. All you did was post a negative comment to a poll which had nothing negative in it. I'm sure you do not go around for the good of humanity and try to what you call "critque". You set out from the begining to post an unnecessary comment because for some odd reason you were personally effected by my harmless poll. Your not doing any good or adding any insight with that comment...which is what a real critique would do. For example, if you were in class and your teacher was showing a poll to the class and you said outloud...that these polls are awful...then wouldn't that teacher frown upon your comment because it was uncalled for and rude. Well...in this case...I would be the teacher and you are the student. Your still in denial, but hopefully someday you will realize your actions or comments effect some people differently. Hmm extremely boring e-fight aside, I like this poll. It seems to be the only mainstream alternative/nu-metal-y bands I have any respect for. (excluding Tool, yuck) It was hard to choose between Incubus and Rage, but in the end I choose RATM.
