When I saw them, 6 out of 17 songs were from Daisy. It seems like they're averaging about six per show, give or take.

Someone might have pointed this out before, but the lyrics in Sowing Season and Daisy are pretty similar. Both of them are related to themes of things coming to an end and starting over, and both involve planting things as that metaphor.

I took 3 highschool years, which is the equivalent of a first year college course or something. I loved it. I actually found it easier than French or Spanish, but I've also heard that the more languages you learn, the easier they get as you go.

so to compare it to any of brand new's other work is unfair.
I personally love your favorite weapon, it's catchy, it's punk, and it carries a lot of raw emotion.
But that dosen't mean i don't like Deja/TDAGARIM/Daisy.
All albums have solid music, but which you prefer is completely subjective to who you are, and your musical taste.

Fucking amazing show. They played "Carry The Zero," so I can die happy. what an incredibly tight and precise live band. What's so great, though, is that for how technical the music is, there's still a real sense of flow and looseness to it. It's great.

Down In Albion is pretty drug-addled, but I still enjoy it. Shotter's Nation is more coherent/cohesive, but overall I'd say Dirty Pretty Things are vastly superior to Babyshambles. Still, both bands are worth listening to. As is Pete's solo album.

[A-->B] Life or whatever just kinda annoyed me, and I remember listening to another one, but I forget most of it.

Give Brother, Sister a listen from start to finish. It's amazing, definitely their best overall album. Catch for Us the Foxes is also excellent, not quite as good but with arguably better individual songs. The former has more of an indie-folk-meets-post-hardcore vibe to it, like [A-->B] Life meets it's all crazy!, and the latter has a more "spacey," maybe atmospheric sound. I can see Aaron's vocal style taking some time to get use to, but I think it fits the music and lyrics perfectly.

I want to see them play another show real bad, I saw them play a family show and it was so underwhelming

I know I'm being "that guy," but I feel like any future shows from them would be similarly underwhelming in comparison.

I feel like they sound more generic with their last album

Yeah, I feel like they had been getting better and better with each record, but backtracked on the last one. It felt too clean-cut and, as you said, generic to be mwY... I just didn't like it.
I think "Every Thought..." was the only song I liked on that album.

The first and (unfortunately) only time I saw them, Aaron came outside to hang out and play games with us and even got us apples from craft service, asking if he should slice them for us. Definitely the kindest musician I've ever met.
And he threw his sweater up in the air during their set, and it got stuck in the rafters. He just shrugged and went on with the set; he really didn't care about losing a sweater. But in between their and Thrice's sets, the techs had a competition to see who could get it for him anyway. It was pulled down with a victorious cheer from the crowd, haha.

Best day of my life, no doubt. :)
