to kill this

Does this color of dissatisfaction, that glazes your eyes
match the bile that runs from your stomach,
to the back of your throat, through your mouth,
chasing the words that tumble out.
Your tongue slips, mishaping words
Your mouth trips, mistaking your lips for hers.
As you stare, losing your sight in the stars
SICK of what you are...
(cause you'll never be what she wants,
no you'll never be)
So sick, that your stomach turns
at the sound of her gasps,
and the slip of the glass
that you hold.
This is the longest night that you've ever spent
Painting sweet smiles onto your lips,
and the force of the tip
of your tongue to your teeth,
how sweet, when you've finally said the words,
but she was too drunk too have heard.
And the way that her skirt
lightly brushes her thigh
A sneak peek, you seek
but know you only can buy
He twirls her hair,
a look of vanity on his sweaty face.
And it drips from her pores,
Yeah she's asking for more
by the way that her hand trails his leg
your eyes beg, plead for relief,
to release this sight,
and forget this night.
But the only sound that is heard,
is the tumbling of ice,
as you stir, and you slur.
This is the hardest night you've ever spent,
Forgetting just how fast it really went
(for them, oh for them).
This is when...
You exit into the street, shuffle of feet
and you're leaving, and you're running away.
And she screams for you,
pleads for you, clinging to you and your every move.
And she whispers "I'll do the same for you..."
So you pay her all she's worth
Only the action, no promise of benefit.
Only the action, a suck and a spit.
