With Wolfmother's brand new rock opus coming out in 9 days, I thought it was an appropriate enough time to finally create an official thread for this band. Personally, they are one of my favorite bands in the world. Unabashed fun rock 'n roll is a dying art and Wolfmother pulls it off better than pretty much anyone out there right now.

I love this band; I got the vinyl pre-order. Do you know if it comes with a digital download as well? I saw that it comes with a digital download on the Australian site, but it didn't say anything about it on the US site.

If you're just getting into them, I'd say listen to their first album all the way through. It's really great.

Dimension, The White Unicorn, Colossal are tops on the first record.. and for the new record... I would say White Feather, Far Away, California Queen

They did for like a split second then a week later Andrew announced he was going to continue with the name... that was 2 years ago... and they are finally just getting the new stuff out.

Great band, I dig the vibe this band has. Woman is damn good song, I love the riff in it.

I'm really excited for this release. When I saw the official video for 'New Moon Rising' on Pitchfork I remembered how much these dudes (dude) rock.

Love the first album, but I'm not sure how I feel about the new one yet. I'll have to listen to it a few more times and maybe it'll grow on me.

There isn't a REAL leak available yet, just rips of the myspace streams. (they are streaming the whole record on myspace right now).

Just got the record in the mail. The artwork looks incredible, and it turns out it does come with a digital download. I'm very pleased.
