Alkaline Trio put out an amazing CD in the past year, and then did an amazing tour - where they played their old and new stuff for almost two hours each night.

Dashboard is helping smaller bands get noticed, is putting out a major CD, which will be just as good as his last one and the live act is amazing.

I have to disagree with Alkaline Trio. I loved them way back when they started and I love them now. It's a different sound, of course, but it's not bad. It took me a few listens to get used to at first. Seein' them in concert definitely helped with that, but I like it. It's different. As for the rest of them, I dunno, I don't listen to most of those bands anymore. I have their first few albums, then just stopped liking them as much I guess.

Destination: Beautiful is one of my favorites, yet if you compare the two The Everglow feels more complete Destination: has some standout tracks (Goodbye, Goodnight is possibly my favorite song ever written) but The Everglow has no bland tracks and never seems to dissapoint me.
And to agree with the rest, half of this list seems like a joke to me.
