macgruber would be funny with the snl writers of the 90s-early 00s...but its just not as good as it could be.

Wiig is actually one of the funnier females that I've seen in a while...her delivery on all jokes is right on cue, she's great. The rest are "meh"...is Darryl Hammond is STILL on the show haha

Here are some random thoughts about a few of the SNL characters:

-I went with Bill Hader as my top choice. He can do a variety of characters and can get laughs just by looking at the camera or making a weird sound.

-I don't understand all of the intrigue over Andy Samberg. I find him funny and love The Lonely Island's album, but his work in the sketches is just awkward.

-Kristin Wiig is funny, but she's always typecast as the awkward chick. It'd be nice to see her in some different roles.

-Fred Armisen: Funny guy, but come on, what a bad Obama impression. It's shameful that SNL didn't get a new cast member this year who can impersonate Obama well.

-Oh, last thing. Bobby Moynihan pisses me off because he can only play a kid or a retard.

I don't understand the love for Andy Samberg. I appreciate the digital shorts, but he is one of the worse actors on the show when it comes to impressions and sketches.

I'm really surprised to see that Samberg has so many votes. I like the digital shorts, I like the Lonely Island CD, but he's pretty bad in sketches. I went with Wiig, but I actually like the guys a good amount, too. I was kinda hoping Sudeikis would be getting a few more votes, he shouldn't be losing to Kenan.

Seth meyers for me. i love the weekend update; it's the most consistent aspect of the show, which i like. I agree with everyone on the thing about andy samberg only really being good in digital shorts.

thats so tough. I picked Samberg strictly because of the digital shorts, but as far as the sketches go Wiig, Hader, and Forte are almost equally hilarious. Seth Meyers on Weekend Update is ultra hilarious too. This is like picking your favorite child, assuming none of your children just flat out suck.

it's a weak line-up, and i've seen less episodes this year than in a long time. of the cast provided though, i prefer andy samberg. the digital shorts are my favorite part of the show most of the time. i feel like most of the sketches are trying but just not getting there, and part of that is the fact that most of the cast straight up annoy me and nothing else.

SNL isn't even funny anymore. the only time i laughed at the megan fox/U2 episode was weekend update, and it's not cause of seth myers, it's just that they were the only funny jokes in the entire episode. and it didn't help the fact that U2 is terrible.
