So, there's this girl. We told each other we are interested in one another, but she doesn't want to risk losing our friendship. Well, we've been really close lately and spending a lot of time together. I plan on asking her out soon (a close friend said she's ready), and I think it'd be cool/cute/romantic to make a mix tape and change the titles of the songs.

Here's the mix:

I think that it flows pretty good, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

IMO, I would perhaps replace Transatlanticism with Passenger Seat... it seems that PS's lyrics would fit your situation more than Transatlanticism. Plus it's a bit more of a... well, happier song.

Oh, and that Bright Eyes song is a nice touch. Good job.

I've introduced her to most of the songs on the list, and Transatlanticism is her favorite Death Cab song, so i'm going to keep it on there.

I knew this one girl that made a mix for her gf where the titles of the songs would make a sentence. She made one where the first letter of each song would spell out something. It was really cool. You could do that for another mix - like spell her name out or something.

oh yeah its really great. i always want to put it on mixes as a cute romantic song but it seems like the songs about them getting drunk and ending up in the sack, which isnt the message i want to convey. but to me, thats not what it means, i think its the epitome of love, walking the girl home and ending and running and yelling through the streets, arm in arm, not caring what anyone thinks. its such a great song though.
