Sorry if this is a little too similar to the other thread i made , but i though this would be a better idea for a thread.
What city's fans can you not stand?
Sorry Philly , but Eagles and Phillies fans are the worst.
Boston i think comes in second.

The success of the Phillies has brought more fans to pay attention to not just the Eagles but the Phillies also, thus bringing tons of assholes towards the Phillies side. I'll never forget douchebags showing up to Phillies games 3 years ago and chanting "E-A-G-L-E-S" during the games.
Regardless, it's nowhere near as bad at CBP as it used to be at the Vet.

I don't know if i don't like philly more for their fans being stupid or because some of the most devestating Tampa sports memories i have were against Philly. One of the first sporting events i remember going to was the Lightning's first ever playoff match and watching them getting beat by the fucking Flyers.
Beating the Eagles in last game ever at Veterans Stadium at the 2002 NFC championship made up for everything though , until the 2008 world series.

Syracuse? Why? I went to college up there (not at SU, though) and didn't find fans bad at all. I think it's stupid that everyone is blindly an SU fan, but I could go to the Dome as a St. John's fan and not catch much crap about it.
My vote for worst fans goes to Boston, but only for Red Sox and Patriots; can't say that Bruins fans are really bad. And as a NY Rangers fan, Montreal is a close second for the crap they pull when they come to MSG.
Boston fans are far and away the worst. I live in Chicago but have spent time in a few other major cities in the US and nowhere else have I found such stupid, obnoxious fans as I saw in Boston.

There was a judge present at every Eagles game at Veterans Stadium. If you were ejected from the stadium or arrested during the game they would take you right to a hearing. They don't do that at the Linc or CBP though.

you are correct, also the yankees most recently won the pennant in 01 and 03 would give us three this decade and a WS win this year (hopefully) would give the yanks 2 in the decade and 4 pennants in the decade. that would mean the yankees would be all caught up with boston (and up 2 penants) for this particular decade if thats how people are measuring fairly recent success

my best friend is at miami now and all of a sudden they think they are the best just because they are ranked this year. he says ranked number 10 is way too low even though they lost to virginia tech....and it gives him a reason to not talk about how my yankees are doing well while his red sox are out (and when the yanks spanked them in their last 3 meetings) because all he cares about is jacory harris and the U. I've had partial season ticket plans for the past 4 years and have witnessed 1 fight, and it was with a bunch of Mets/Phillies fans. I've only witnessed opposing fans get harassed if they were Mets, Red Sox, or Yankees fans. And even then there was nothing really derogatory said unless it was from some really drunk asshole. Philly may be filled with a lot of obnoxious and asshole fans but the idea that Phillies games are absolute nightmares for opposing fans is completely far-fetched. And the people who ARE from around here that say otherwise are people who haven't been to many games. 8 times out of 10 the worst comment you'll get from someone is a "Insertyourfavoriteteamhere sucks" comment.

It's a huge rivalry. A good bulk of the not so cool interactions I've witnessed were involving Mets fans. They just did a "Why Your Stadium Sucks" thing on Deadspin with CBP. There were comments from Mets fans saying it's not as bad as people make it out to be and that many of them had decent conversations with Phillies fans while they were there.

yesterday sucked, im a colts fan but i support the giants because they are my girlfriends team, and the pats just slaughtered the winless titans thanks to the classless bill belichick. tom bradys so good because he pads his stats against weak secondaries and goes for it on 4th down on their own side of the field. people say hes so great but if i had a rule named after myself where an opponent will get flagged 15 yards for breathing on me then i would be good at throwing touchdown passes against winless teams too

I could be wrong, but I think Wrigley field sells out even when the cubs aren't winning. I've been a cubs fan my whole life and so have most people I know around here so I don't see the jumping on and off the bandwagon thing. It's, in my experience, an extremely painful thing to be a cubs fan.

Oh god driving from Danbury to Rockville on Fridays was the absolute worst. I'd have Danbury, Waterbury, and finally Hartford traffic to contend with. It'd be an hour drive back on Sundays, but sometimes a two-plus hour drive on Friday. Yeah, Rockville/Vernon is like 20 minutes from UConn, 30 from ECSU.
