Predictions

Does anyone have any predictions of semi unheard of bands on the verge of making it big? Not that its a GREAT thing or anything but it's just fun to guess or tell someone ahead of time. I think that Story of the Year will be pretty big nation wide by the end of the summer. It's also weird how songs from the nfg self titled were wannabees on TRL and everyone was like "ahhh" theyre mainstream! and then the hype died. only to be brought back by sticks and stones. And how benji and joel hosted MTV shows long before mtv viewers even knew who the hell they were. Im rambling.

there is a band called The Switch who is being looked at by alto of labels. tooth and nails offered but switch turned them down cause they couldnt help them get more exposure... look at for them. they are so great. and i know them too. very nice people.

Then again...AFI was hyped up big-time when Sing the Sorrow came out in March but it seems like that's all dying down now. Maybe they'll leave my Alk3 alone.

Its all just a crappy situation the way some great music isnt on the radio. I mean The album "Progress" by the RxBandits was extremely radio friendly, and Im pretty sure was never played on any major stations. Its all just politics really.

yea just like the others i think alkaline trio will start to get major airplay, i just herd them on the radio the other day, it doensnt really matter to me tho, there my favorite band and i think its great that theyll get recognized, cuz i sure as hell no there better than ne of the crap they play on the radio

I catch crap for liking them, but they're a pretty good band, I also thing Days Away and Gatsby's American Dream are going to be getting bigger soon, I like when Tate makes new bands his featured bands, most of the music is pretty good...
