I am looking to join a serious / touring band who cares about what they do.
I have over 5 years of experience playing in a few different bands. I've played in crowded, hot basements. I've played in big venues and at big festivals.
My influences include: As Cities Burn, Taken, This Day Forward, Beloved, Circa Survive, mewithoutYou, Dredg, As Tall As Lions, Thrice, Misery Signals, Pelican, ISIS, Explosions In The Sky, Life In Your Way, La Dispute
Obviously no where near the real amount of influences but that should give you an idea.
I care deeply about music. I love jamming, writing, playing shows, recording, touring, driving vans, riding in vans, sleeping in them.... whatever it takes.
I have professional equipment and I am very reliable. Right now I am located in Chicago. I'm originally from Michigan. I would be willing to relocate if I was really moved by the music you are making. I'm planning on moving out to Portland OR either this summer or next summer, so I would definitely relocate there sooner if something popped up for me there.

-I play all the guitar in the recordings and I also do the singing and shouting vocals. Not the screaming. I also wrote all the lyrics and most of the music for each song.
-I said current band because I am currently still in A Living Portrait, but we have kind of come to a cross roads where we're not sure if we are going to cut our losses and break up or try to re form the band. I figure if I find something else that I can really see myself doing, it could sway me in the right way, and I'll be a lot happier.
This has been a very long post. Please reply if you have anything you think I'd be interested in. I also know an amazing bass player and person named Leif who would be a great addition to any band. (Package deal?)
