ur annoying; as is the fact that its not so secret when its on myspace itself. SA announced it YESTERDAY that they would be playing it on their not-so-secret myspace. moron.

ofcourse its not so secret, but judging how its first come first serve attendance, they should find out the way everyone else did, going to that site and checking it, not having ap.net announce it to the world.
its not only like this. ap.net is the reason brand new tickets were imposible to get last month becuase everytime something was posted in the street team section somebody would post it here, basicly making it useless for posting it for the street team in the first place. its tthe same concept,. its not hard to find these things out, we shouldnt be making them any easier...
and please, if your going to diss someone, don't write "ur". it makes you seem like a twelve year old wannabee-scenester.

Aww poor thing lifes just not fair.. you probably hate bands that get on mtv and the kids that seem them on their then come and ruin your show.. but its not fair to you because "they should find out the way everyone else did, going to that site and checking it" People on this site love say anything soo why the hell should it not be posted.. If they love say anything thats all that matters. who gives a shit if they arent on myspace to find out

maybe the bands don't want their audiences to be filled strictly with insecure myspace whores.

no its quite the opposite. im one of the few people here who never bashed FOB and HH. they're all chill guys and make good music. so what if it makes mtv? but yeah thats really irrelevant.
Myspace throws these shows to promote their company through free shows. these shows are free for a reason, to reward its "friends" with free shows. people who add them get the "reward" of the information. its free, so to say that say anythign friends here who like them get to see the info is bullshit. iif they wanted to know it, im sure they could go and signup. takes two seconds. now for a show thats at a small place and where attendance is first come first serve, now people who probobly shouldn't have known or wouldn't have known could take the spot of someone who wanted to go and got "rewarded" by myspace.
like what happend with Thursday in Asbury Park last week. after it was posted here some peopel couldnt get in it was so crowded.
some things are posted in certain places for certain reasons. if Say Anything wanted this show to be known to everyone as common knowledge, they'd post it on their purevolume, myspace, websites, street team, send out emails to everyone, myspace bulletins. but they didn't. its called a "secret show" for a reason. its not even a hard secret to attain.

yeah, seriously....quit bitching. i was at the show saturday and they made it pretty unsecret when they announced it to the whole crowd, which already accounts for more people than could conceivably fit in the north star. i'm not a myspace whore and if i hadnt been at the show on sat i would appreciate a site like ap posting the news. its not like putting something on myspace assures the most dedicated SA crowd, just the most compulsive myspace users.

ist that the point of the internet, to make things easier??? from now on I want you to go to the library and actualy touch books to do research and never quote anything off the internet ever...UR in a bullshit storm hoss.
also, wow, I don't you think that myspace would be like "yeah dudes, don't post the show up anywhere on your other web places or your myspace" since they are hosting the show?? god damn, you infuriate me.

A: I really doubt Say Anything cares whether the people who show up are their myspace friends or not. They saw an opportunity to put on a free show for fans (who'm they have had to cancel on many times) and took it, they sure as hell don't give a fuck about myspace rewarding their "friends."
B: It is posted openly on the Say Anything myspace, meaning anybody can look at it, its common knowledge not really a secret, plus they did mention it at their show and I'm fairly confident that all those kids wouldn't have been checking the Say Anything myspace page daily and found out otherwise (not to mention that not all of that crowd was full of myspace users, so it obviously isnt just about rewarding myspace users).
C: Its actually a good tool for myspace if non-myspace users show up, because it acts as a promotional tool and I'm fairly confident that you need to promote more to non-users than to people that are already signed up...but thats just my opinion.
