Finally, AP is getting a chance to talk with Anathallo (http://www.anathallo.com). Let me know what questions you have for them and leave them in the replies. If you haven't read my review, read it (http://absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=124940&highlight=anathallo). And if you haven't bought Floating World, buy it (http://www.anathallo.com/store/). Thanks!

Do you guys consider yourselves to be a Christian band (ie, in the mold of Switchfoot, Relient K, and others)?

I was at the Format show in Pomona (Glasshouse), and I can't help but wondering what's going through your heads when you hear snickers and mockers in the crowd. Do you get discouraged? Angry? Do you hear them at all?
What do you hope your music provides your fans?

Your show at The Bombshelter in Birmingham, AL was the most amazing live performance I have ever seen... but how difficult was it to squeeze so many instruments/people onto that super, super tiny stage? Also, where do you guys draw your inspiration from? Where did the whole Japanese influence come from?

What is your stance on downloading music? Are you for it, strictly against it, or in some grey area in between?

What kind of bands inspiried you to put together something like Anathallo?
Your live show is probably one of the incredible and original things I've ever seen. It's almost like seeing a musical with a storyline and everything. How did you come up with ideas like that for your both your live show and your songs?

When i saw you guys in Champaign IL, during the "break down" if you will of Don't kid yourself, you covered some song for a few measures, and i was just wondering what song that was, and i've read on your message board that you do this from time to time, what covers can we expect ? Anything special planned for Cornerstone?

Something everyone is dying to know: What was with the soap that came with the pre-orders of Floating World?

I saw these guys at Cornerstone, Florida, and their show was enthralling. It drew you in, and didn't let go in that weird "watching a trainwreck" sort of beautiful way. One of the guys didn't like my Showbread shirt, though...
Since he asked me "what do you have against eighth notes", I want to ask back: "What's so special about an eighth note anyway?"
Because, I just feel like it.

Have they ever had any weird technical difficulties or unfortuante incidents during shows (breaking of instruments or stages, etc).
What is their deal with Nettwerk, exactly? Is Anathallo signed with them? Are they just distributors?
Does Erica ever feel out of place in a band of dudes?
Is "hope" a theme throughout "Floating World?" Is there a theme? If there is a theme, what song encompasses it most fully?
For everyone asking about the Japanese influence: one of the interviews AP linked to a while back mentioned that three of the members visited Japan for a while, and it was just a natural inclusion.
since you ( anathallo ) hails from michigan, are you just as saddened as everyone else about the break up of bear vs shark?

What caused your departure from your older sound (esp. Sparrows) to the more indie ("sufjan-ish" people refer to it as) sound on Floating World? I feel like you truly had your own, unduplicated sound, but almost "developed" into a band that features the same things as other indies.
What's the deal with Luminous Luminescene (I'm pretty sure I butchered that, but I'm in a rush.)? Why isn't their any "official" data on the album on your website, let alone album art anywhere?
How has manager Tom Gates (please say I got his name right...) helped you along as a band?
Do you plan on putting your album in stores (Best Buy, Target, etc.) anytime in the near future?
Why is it that you always have *special* little deals with your merch sales? You used to make beanies, now the soap with the preorder...I love it by the way, keep it up.

-What do you think of Michigander Sufjan Stevens?
-What do you like best about playing Homestate shows opposed to out-of-state.
-What is the writing process like? With so many parts, how does everyone get in their two-cents?

I recently purchased that new art book "Exposed" and really love Andrew's pieces in the book. I was wondering if the other members of the band all have other outlets of creative expression in addition to music such as drawing/painting/photography/writing/etc

Ask them what it was like working with mewithoutYou on mewithoutYou's new upcoming studio album? I believe they played horns and such. (This news is straight from the horses mouth via a 30 minute walk with Aaron from mewithoutYou to a local Good Will on Saturday night.)
P.S. Jeremy Egnik is definately on the album (and on more than one song)
(P.S.S) And they are touring together.....

Does anyone in the band not sing?
Mike Kinsella or Tim Kinsella?
What can we expect next?
Are there any definitive dates set for the UK tour as of yet?
What does 'Hoodwink' mean?
