Below is a message from New Atlantic (http://www.myspace.com/newatlantic) announcing that drummer Jake Kalb, who's been playing with the band for the past 5 months, is now an official member of the group.
Hey everyone!
I hope you're all doing well? Everything is going great in the New Atlantic world! We just had a short week or so off... it was really nice to have some time to ourselves after being on the road for so many months, but we're back to writing now and look forward to our shows coming up.
As Dave mentioned in a previous livejournal post, we have a lot of cool news/secrets to announce in the upcoming weeks, so I figure it's about time we let you in on one...
I'm sure you've all come across his photos on our myspace or seen that infectious smile at one of our shows, haha... but our good friend Jake Kalb, who had previously been filling in on drums for us, is now officially a member of the band. He's been writing and on the road with us for nearly 5 months now, so I'm sure he's no stranger to you all.
It's about time we made this announcement... We love Jake and couldn't be happier to have him as a part of our family!
