I found a bit more news on it:
Attack Attack! vocalist Nick Barham has quit the band just days before they were set to embark on a headline tour of the U.S.
A similar thing happened in 2008 when the band fired ex-vocalist Austin Carlile just before they were set to hit the road with Maylene and The Sons Of Disaster.
Barham posted this statement about leaving the band...
"I just wanted to let everyone know what's going on with me right now. Last week i was talking to all the dudes in attack attack and decided that I was going to quit the band. There's no beef between us. It was just time for change. But for right now I'm going to be going out with my brothers band Sleeping with Sirens just to keep busy. So make sure you check them out and try to come say hi. I will be starting something new soon! So keep an eye out for it. Love you guys!"
He acts as if everyone is waiting with bated breath for him to start a new project. 2 vocalists leaving in such a short period

I hate this trend as much as the next person, but to just troll in here saying no one cares is stupid :shrug:. 15 year old scenester kids around the US are going ape shit for this band, a lot of people will be pissed off.
It's incredible how everyone is starting to jump on this style of music. :\

They do not have a huge fan base. Paramore has a huge fan base. All Time Low has a huge fan base. Kenny Chesney has a huge fan base.

Well yeah, Kenny Chesney is one of the biggest country stars of today, same with All Time Low and Paramore being some of the bigger alternative bands. I guess I was comparing their fan base to the rest of the crunkcore/crabcore "movement".

Going off of lastfm they have about 1/6th the fanbase that All Time Low has. That's pretty impressive considering that they have only been around since 2006, compared to All Time Low who have been around since 2003. Sure it's a shitacular trend but there are definitely plenty of idiots who would care about this.

in all seriousness though, this band is fine. sure their music isn't the most original/innovative stuff out there but I think theyre pretty solid. From the shows I've been to/videos i've seen Nick struggled pretty badly though :(

From the live video's i've seen of them with him, this is no great loss.
But the album with Austin was really good, I don't see why these are hated so much. Travesty that people could no longer stand up with a guitar and wanted to move differently than others *Sarcasm*. I can't see why some people have such a fit over the whole Crab thing.

To be fair, the last show I was at in Toronto [Silverstein/A Day To Remember] the most band shirts of one band were without a doubt attack attack! I didn't think they were really that big either. "stick stickly" has like 8millions plays on their myspace which is alot. Don't get what makes the kiddies go crazy for this band.

Oh my god man! I was so glad to hear that Nick left. The guy couldn't even sing. He would scream like two words and then just sing the rest. As for nick leaving, Good. He wasn't as great as austin and he probably realized he'd never really be accepted as a singer with AA!.
Didn't really listen to F.A.W.K., so I can't say he was a good. He probably got kicked out for bad screaming.
