I've been away for a looooooong time but decided I'd post this. One of the few pieces I've put together since I've been around.

The boy who lost his voice, gained a hand.


The heart of the writer that can't speak
entrapped in the writings he hides brashly
they are infinite and untold

he pleads for mediocrity

yeah, I've been criticized before for having songs similar to Thursday, but the ones they say it was similar to I ended up writing before the song was released or anyone having the ability to ever listen to it or even read the lyrics. I'm used to that sort of criticism though. I wrote this song, then not long after the cd was on their myspace and I heard The lovesong Writer and was almost angry because they were similar, but i feel the meaning held in each song are different.

PS: the new Thursday cd disappoitned me. =/

Haha, it is very much like The Lovesong Writer, if only because of the first verse.

But I'll accept your claim of writing it before ACBTLD came out, so this is very good. Nice job. :thumbsup:

P.S. It takes a lot of getting into. I actually had to buckle myself down and listen to it about 10-15 times.

Thanks, and so I've heard. I think they went overboard a little bit with adding the new keyboardist/piano. I've listened to it about 8 times most of the way through. I'll keep giving it a listen though -=)

Oh, I agree completely, his presence just changed the sound so much. But its a good record regardless, IMO.

sometimes i think they went a little TOO overboard but yes for the most part it has sounded good, just some parts make my ears almost bleed.
