That is an awesome setlist! Why would they break up Q + A? That's a little weird. And I would also like if they took out Typical for a song like Retrogade or maybe another song from the self titled. Typical is one of my least favorite Cartel songs

Cartel didn't play The Fortunate or The Perfect Mistake? And the breakup of Q and A is weird. Sweet setlist, though. Would love to see See Me Now, but I won't complain. I REALLY have to go to this now.

just thinking the same thing! i mean unless they don't really play that live or something. i wouldn't know since i've somehow never seen them before. regardless, pretty good set overall.

if that's not the summer set's full setlist, i'm hoping for some ep songs. they've said they're not playing as many of them anymore, but i'm guessing at least she's got the rhythm would be on there, and maybe seasons.

This. I was really looking forward to seeing Sand In Your Shoes played live. Though that set list is not horrid. It seems kinda short for being right before Cartel. I'd think they had more playing time. I wish they'd have more playing time.

that setlist is from the almost tour though, so it might be different for this tour. they said they were mixing it up. i wouldn't get too disappointed until someone comes with a setlist from this tour. i'm kinda surprised it's taken this long, but i suppose hopefully we'll get some after tonight?

From Youtube videos it looks like they're playing My Beautiful Rescue, Letdown, Somebody to Talk To, Waste Myself, Keeping on Without You, A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, and I don't know what else.

Excited to see them do Somebody to Talk To live and I'm glad it looks like they're not playing Playing the Villian or Sand in Your Shoes this time around. I wish they'd play Walking on Water soon, I haven't seen that in a long time.

All of the summer set's songs sound the same so I was pretty bored. This providence was ok but forgettable. At the NYC show I heard people complaining that they were bored but they weren't there for Cartel and it seemed like they were far more concerned with taking pics than enjoying the music. I don't know if you still need it, but I went to the show on 11/4. I remember them having all old stuff pretty much (including the white+black vneck and other shirts that they've had on the lmam tour). They also had the wide red bracelets that say "Who Are You Know?" and they have this plastic circular necklace that says "This Providence".

Also, I know that in the past week Dan has been getting sick so they've had to cut down on their songs/signings after the show. At the Detroit show they cut off one (maybe two, I don't remember) songs off their set list and Dan didn't come out to meet people at all.

i went to the 11/7 show in minneapolis, so amazing :) the bigger lights were very forgettable. the summer set put on a fun and dance-y show, and this providence were great too. they've got talent. the guys seemed like douches though...they didn't even stay after to sign stuff and take pictures for that long at all...instead they just stood outside and smoked and got some slutty looking girls' numbers. anyways. cartel was beyond amazing. the beginning and end of their set were my favorite parts, super energetic. not that the middle was bad at all. i got the setlist, & it was the same as the setlist posted above. the guys are very nice.

anyways, if anybody's wondering about merch...
the bigger lights had a white vneck with metallic red writing "goldmine valentine the bigger lights". the summer set had a white vneck striped grey with the summer set on it and then some words under i forgot...and a red cross on it. this providence had that white and black vneck and a navy shirt with an owl on it. and cartel had a black shirt with cartel in green with hands ripping it apart, a black shirt with a green milk box thing with records in it and then cartel written on a yellow bar going across. it's really cool. i could take a picture of it if anybody wants to see it. and then i think a yellow(?) shirt with cartel written on it and hands spelling out cartel in sign language underneath it. that's all i remember, but obviously there's more.

GREAT NIGHT!
are you sure it was this prov? lol. sorry, that just seems like the complete opposite of them. they've always been the sweetest guys to talk to, and have never given off douchey vibes (and trust me, i'll admit when a band i like does do that). if anything, i feel they are some of the most real guys to talk to, b/c they are always just amazed that anyone would want to talk to them lol. you must have caught them on an off night, or if they didn't stay long, maybe it's b/c no one was coming to talk to them? idk

i bought the summer set's hoodie, so freaking comfortable :] i think they were the only band that had a hoodie (except maybe cartel? i didn't really look at their merch)
oh, and for anyone who doesn't know and cares, The Bigger Lights dates on the tour are over, and now the first opening band is The Dares

I thought I posted in here yesterday, but Cartel did have a hoodie.
And I'm jealous of you buying The Summer Set's hoodie, if I would have had money I would have gotten it--looks uberly comfy.

Sacremento 11/12 & San Francisco 11/13
They played the same set both nights

The Summer Set:
The Boys You Do (Get Back at You)
Punch-Drunk Love
She's Got The Rhythm
Young
Love In This Club (Cover w/Partial Love Story Verses)
Chelsea

TSS always plays a solid set, they are really a love or hate band.. They got the crowd going and most people really seemed to be into them. Their fanbase within the last year has grown.

This Providence:
Waste Myself
A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
Card House Dreamer
That Girls a Trick
Playing The Villian
Selfish
Keep on Without You
*forgot one song
My Beautiful Rescue
Squeaking Wheels and White Lights
Letdown

This providence always puts on a good show, they are very entertaining and seemed to really be into the crowd. Both shows they did very well, and they were very fun to watch. I enjoy seeing them every time they come out.

Cartel:
Let's Go
Faster Rider
Burn This City
27 Steps
Matter of Time
This is Who We Are
It Still Remains
Say Anything Else
Deep South
Only You
Minster's Prayer
Q
Lose It
A
Encore:
The Perfect Mistake
Honestly
I think they played settle down.. but I'm not sure

I love Cartel, for the longest time.. So this might be a bit biased but they did really really good both nights. I haven't seen them in 2 years, and they are exactly what I remember. They played a really long set, and it was very well put together. The new songs sounded amazing live, and the older ones were even better. I realllllllllllly wanted to see Typical live, but they didnt play it both nights.

Overall a really good show, if your on the fence of going.. You really should, its worth it :)

Seeing this tonight. I'm sad about the lack of the more popular Chroma songs and Self-Titled songs like Runaway, Honestly, If I Fail, The Fortunate, and No Subject. Gee, I can never be pleased

Honestly is played, it's in the encore, so it's not actually on their setlist. and if you can get enough people chanting they may play If I Fail. they played it in columbus after Honestly, and only kevin was still on stage, and a bunch of drunk guys yelled for more haha, so they played a 2nd encore
