You can read my review for Controlling The Famous (http://www.myspace.com/controllingthefamous)' new album, Automatic City, here (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?p=3394616). The album is in stores now through The Militia Group. Might I add, this is one of my favorite albums of the year.

Exactly! One of the best this year; more people need to check them out / listen to them!

Haha. You're such a jerk. I said ONE OF my favorites of the year, not THE favorite of the year. I was just pleasantly surprised with how good this was for coming out of left-field. God forbid I like more than uno release in a year...

What happened to Burns out Bright, RHCP, Goo Goo Dolls, Format, and the other ones I'm forgeting now.

Hahaha.

Haven't listened to this yet - way to into Rise Against, Underoath, and AFI. I'll check it out later.

Goo Goo is just a great pop record, it's not going to be in my Top 10 -- I just really enjoy it. And last time I checked, Best of the Year lists consist of more than one album, no? Haha. I still love The Format, RHCP and BOB, but Format is definitely my favorite, the number one for me, of '06 so far.
