Pretty sure I remember hearing in this one that once you do activate certain things that alert the hoard that you have to find a switch or something to stop them from coming or there literally will be no end to them.

This occurs in L4D on crash course and actually makes it far more interesting. It helps prevent standing in one corner the whole time, it forces you to come out!

Fantastic. Although I've been playing L4D up to pretty much Monday, the day before L4D2 was released, so I never got tired of it. I can see people saying the Campaign got boring fast, since it does if you just play single player. But online co-op on advanced or expert, or (my favorite by far) Versus made me never tire of the gameplay whatsoever.

The crescendo events where you have to turn off an alarm are incredibly frenetic. The fact that you know you can't just kill off a horde and wait it out gives it a very intense feeling. Also, I'm really liking the new finales; they're no longer radio for help and wait it out. They are now radio for help then get from point A to point B to the extraction. The new change is a really good one.

This game was denied for sale in Australia until recently. They had to remove quite a lot of the gore content. Hopefully they didn't do that much of a hatchet job with it.

Bring on the Melee weapons! I sure hope the Single player campaign is an improvement from L4D. I felt that was the games only drawback.

The solution is simple as far as I can tell. If you live in Australia and you want Left 4 Dead 2, buy it off the internet. Same thing goes with Russians who want the full version of Modern Warfare 2.

I've had the game since it came out and logged about twenty games on versus, and only one level (#1 on Dead Center) was me and the three random players able to finish it. Some times, a team wouldn't even be able to make it past the safe room.

This game was disappointing in terms of content too. I know there are new guns, characters, zombies, and campaigns, but there isn't anything that makes the game better. The guns and players could have easily been released as free dlc, and maps and zombie types could be released as a bigger pack for microsoft points (or the equivilent on PSN), but there is really not a good reason to be charged $60 for so little.

Overall, I'd say rent the game or wait for the price to come down. It's fun for a while, but there isn't that much that makes it different then the original (this game reminds me a lot of Halo: ODST).

Agreed. Played the game with three human players and one computer and can't beat any campaign. I personally don't like the emphasis on using melee so much in this game. Always leads to friendly fire..

def dude! the finale on The Parish was insane. it took me and my friend about 5 times and even then i only made it out alive. i love the game soo much though. the melee weapons add soooo much. Grenade launcher+Magnum= <3

Parts of this game are hard as balls. I couldn't finish Hard Rain on Normal by myself so I brought a friend over and we beat it first try on split-screen. Looks like we're gonna have to do the same on The Parish, I always get fucked when I come up out of the sewer and I have to avoid setting off all the car alarms while a host of special infected are trying to kill me, and while a tank is flipping over cars and incapacitating my AI teammates.

Still, it's tons of fun and much better than the first.
