Does anyone know what guitar equipment they use live? I really love their sound. All I know is that they use a AC30

I was looking today as well what they use too. In some of the videos I've seen, they use orange cabs and some sort of fender amp, either a Hot Rod Deville or Deluxe, but obviously I'm not too sure on it.

I've been seeing a lot of threads lately that can be categorized as "how do I sound like band X?" where the assumption is that having the gear of the guitarist will make you sound like them. I hope that there is also some thought given to how the songs are written and constructed, how the player plays, and what the rest of the band is doing. Sometimes the way you sound like a certain band or guitarist is more in the way you approach the song rather than the exact model of cabinet that they are using.

True, very true. A lot of times you have to fiddle with sounds and all that jazz.

Cody plays a Fender American Deluxe Telecaster through a Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10 combo.
Bryan plays a Gibson Les Paul Studio through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 1x12 combo.
The only pedals they use are the amp footswitch, Boss Tuner, and Boss delay (Forget which model... I think it's the DD-6)
AJ plays a Fender Jazz Bass and he doesn't own an amp, he just borrows whatever is available at the show.
Tyler plays a custom Mapleworks drumset, and Zildjian cymbals. I'm not sure about the specs, other than I know he has a 21" Sweet Ride.
That's it! No AC30, no Orange cabs (or any other extension cabs). My band has done a handful of dates with them, and they always blow us away with their live sound. They don't have any fancy gear or tricks up their sleeves. They just practice and tour a lot and know how to sound great with what they've got.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a AC30 right behind Cody.

It's probably the backline for another band. You can also see it's not miked. His Hot Rod Deville is on the floor next to the AC30 case, but you can barely see it because it's directly behind AJ in this video, but you can see it at the very end when he moves (~3:45)

Oh okay, I see it now. Does Cody use the amp's overdrive for songs like Permanent Rain? To me it doesn't really sound like the Deville.

He uses the amp overdrive live. I'm not totally sure on their exact studio setup, but they did tell me they used their combos on the album.

How do you know so much about guitar? It's intimidating haha. Awesome avatar btw, just two men lovin' like brothers.
I remember in the chat they did on here they used 3 different amps for guitar tracks on the record and blended them together. Can't remember exactly what they used though.

That video of starland ballroom I was at the show. The vox belonged to either Ace Enders or Person L. They sounded way better live than they do in this video.

Haha nice
I went back and looked at the chat and on the full length they blended an orange ad30, a vox ac30 and an egnater together to get their rhythm tone.
