Eh, ITAOTS never really hit me like Transatlanticism did.

Holy crap, I can't believe Transatlanticism is winning, it is so bad in comparison to In The Aeroplane Over The Sea.

I read this poll as "What's better: $10 or $100"
At this point, its simple math In the Aeroplane Over the Sea > Transatlanticism
Though Transatlanticism is great (much like $10), I'd much rather have the $100.
You'll understand when you're older.
seems like i would have to take a step backwards for that to happen...lets see..looking at your favortie TV shows..ok Demetri Martin very funny; Flight of the Conchords, funny....but Scrubs is a show that I would classify as having "Two and a Half men" jokes (as Family Guy would put it); forced jokes that make it even lamer with the dingy sound effects in the background. I don't like to have to force my laughs at an unfunny show.

i typed a pronoun and a half made up word in response to your poorly worded opinion, and you somehow have a total grasp on my personality and it's flaws? i bet those sophomore girls think you're soooooo deep.

I never got why there was this divinity assigned to IAOTS for being this super creative masterpiece of songwriting. All the songs sound incredibly sameish to me. I mean I like it just fine, I've never been like OMG ONLY RECORD I NEED FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE though.

no problem. I always kind of wondered if the buzz around that album was all superficial. Like, one person heard it and said to themselves "shit, if I say I don't get it people will think I'm dumb.." and then BOOM, domino effect of everyone else championing it for the same reason.
Totally not the reality of it, but I think it'd be funny if that ever was the case.
it's probably just because jesse lacey and co. started speaking out about it.

i'm not really surprised death cab is winning, but the margins by which they're winning is a little unexpected.

Totally, people only listen to it because they first listened to Brand New. And then after a while they completely denounce Brand New and other likeminded artists. It's a paradox.
