Remember when.. Spike? I dunno, some TV channel, had that extrme basketball with trampolines under the hoop? SlamBall? JamBall? Something like that. Good times.

Anyway, the writer had a point. And some of the comments, too. In football, guys get laid out, hockey, lacrosse, they all have lots of contact. Yet basketball, where if you touch someone it's a foul, seems to have the most embellished "injuries" ever. Oh, you got bumped to the floor.. try get a shoulder directly in the face from one of those other sports. When people go down in those sports, you can generally see why. You don't have to stare at the replay 6 times to figure out he just bumped his elbow on the floor, or got slapped on the back of his bald head. Soccer is also home to a lot of rolling on the ground because there's 37 guys out there to cover for you, so you do your best to act and get a foul.
