X-men 3 was amazing. The special effects were incredible. Good thing my friend's boyfriend told us to stay after the credits. They did have a lot of new characters in it suddenly with no real introductions like someone else said, but besides that--it was an incredible movie.

It was a bonus scene. It basically left a possibility of a fourth movie, even thought I thought this was the final one. Pretty shocking bonus scene, me and my friends talked about it all the way to the car.

actually Iron Man was originally gray.

X-Men 3 was fun. Very flawed but enjoyable movie. I liked it more than the first, but not as much as the second. Ellen Page (Hard Candy, and she's 19, not 14) needs to have my children. 'nuff said.

You didn't think the very last scene was a hint of a possible fourth movie?

No, I did. But everyone kept telling me it was the last movie in the series, which made me think they were leaving it as an option to make a fourth. I mean, the very last scene after the credits made it seem like they were planning on a fourth, but that's contradicting everything my friends told me about it being the last one.

X3 was sweet, probably my second favorite Xmen movie. it really is hard to top X2 though. i got a kick in the gut during mystique's rescue scene. wow

anyways its pretty easy to guess what happens in the scene after the credits. they practically give it away in the beginning of the movie.

grey iron main suit?

you mean WAR MACHINE?

The original Iron Man suit was dull grey metal. Tony Stark was forced to create weapons for some terrorists that hald him hostage when he was overseas on business. He used the armor to defeat the terrorists and poof, Iron Man was born.

He perfected the armor to and painted it red&yellow when he returned to the America.

War Machine's armor was black&white and had a machie gun on the shoulder. (Jim Rhodes)War Machine is currently working for the US government watching the mutants that survived the House of M.

i like how cyclops said about 6 lines and died.
i like how they ruined the nightcrawler character that made number 2 the best movie in the trilogy.
i hope they dont make a 4th as they probably wont get all the actors/actresses on the same screen ever again due to egos and $$$$. they will be replaced by cheaper actors. but ian mckellen will be back cause he is the best gandalf/magneto/da vinci code bad guy ever. maybe they killed of cyclops and xavier due to the fact they wont need to pay them in the 4th? lets hope hugh jackman stays though.

so very Close, but he did not paint it Red and Yellow when he returned to the State. IT was still grey and he relized the grey wasn't very heroic so he painted it Gold. Then later on he designed the Red & Yellow armor we see today. Also the original chest plate kept him alive because he had shrapnel in his heart.

First off, they decided not to renew Alan Cumming's contract because they were crackheads. He rocked as Nightcrawler. "I am Kurt 'Vahg-Ner', but in the Munich circus I was known as the incredible Nightcrawler!" He rocked hard. It's a damn shame, they really could have used another one or two adult X-Men. But at the same time, Bishop/Gambit/Forge would be terrible choices. I would definitely stick with Nightcrawler or just not have killed CYCLOPS DAMMIT!. Also, Angel I think was very well done for the time they had him on screen. It's hard to really expand on characters when there is practically no time to do it in. They should have made two movies - a Dark Phoenix one and a Cure one. That would have worked really well but nooooo...they had to make one movie with both of them mushed and mixed to the point of stunted recognition.

Also, for those that are fans of Lost and Gambit, straight from IMDB - Josh Holloway was offered the role of Gambit, but turned it down because the character was too similar to his character on "Lost" (2004). As a result, the character was never added to the film since this would have been a special cameo put in later had Josh decided to sign on.

Know what you're talking about before you tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.

"Over at Alan Cumming's official website you'll find the following statement: "Alan will NOT be appearing in X3. Fox has not picked up his option to play Nightcrawler for a second movie."

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/news/comments/?entryid=209105
In addition: http://www.comingsoon.net/news.php?id=10081

So yes, I blame the studio because they had a two picture deal and pulled back the second movie offer. It WAS the studios fault. Thanks a lot for trying.

For additional furthering of my point, I lead you to this website which features an Alan Cumming interview talking about how he is about to start filming X3 and he was happy Bryan Singer wouldn't be filming X3...isn't that exciting? http://www.movieweb.com/news/50/6650.php

there better be an X4 cause they left too much left out there unsaid...im kinda scared though cause i saw halle berry on conan and she said it was the last one, hugh jackman said that on leno not too long ago, but kelsey grammar in an interview in entertainment magazine said "who said anything about it being the last movie?"...that got me all happy...yeah, that ending totally left it open...it gave me goosebumps just thinking about a possibility for a fourth one...it was so cool seeing angel in the movie, but he definitly needed a bigger role...it was also definitly the best movie in the trilogy (hopefully we can call it a quadilogy [or however you say it] later on down the road)...nobody has said anything about this guy yet, but if there is a X4, GAMBIT BETTER BE IN IT!!!!...HE IS THE GREATEST XMAN EVER!!!...and me and my friends didn't get the pleasure of seeing the snakes on a plane trailer...that made me sad...oh...AND WHERE IN THE HELL DID NIGHTCRAWLER GO!?!?!

As a result, the character was never added to the film since this would have been a special cameo put in later had Josh decided to sign on.

so i guess a gambit/bishop/forge idea sucks cause the little fucking x-kids in the movie where any better. and about the 50 new characters they had (besides beast) all sucked and had no development and each shared about 6 lines a piece. psylocke and mr porcipine guy and ugly shockwave lady were there 3 piss poor ideas ever. i think they could have used a bishop cause 3 x men didnt do it for me in the end. i didnt like any of the kids. if they had one more character develop like beast it would have been alright. kelsey grammar brought his a game to that movie.

there better be an X4 cause they left too much left out there unsaid...im kinda scared though cause i saw halle berry on conan and she said it was the last one, hugh jackman said that on leno not too long ago, but kelsey grammar in an interview in entertainment magazine said "who said anything about it being the last movie?"...that got me all happy...yeah, that ending totally left it open...it gave me goosebumps just thinking about a possibility for a fourth one...it was so cool seeing angel in the movie, but he definitly needed a bigger role...it was also definitly the best movie in the trilogy (hopefully we can call it a quadilogy [or however you say it] later on down the road)...nobody has said anything about this guy yet, but if there is a X4, GAMBIT BETTER BE IN IT!!!!...HE IS THE GREATEST XMAN EVER!!!...and me and my friends didn't get the pleasure of seeing the snakes on a plane trailer...that made me sad...oh...AND WHERE IN THE HELL DID NIGHTCRAWLER GO!?!?!

...AND THAT GUY IS A DOUCHEBAG...

why am i a douchebag. you just sad the same thing i did basically. about there not being a fourth because of the actors saying no, and where did nightcrawler go. and new characters if there is a 4th.

so what makes me a bigger douchebag than you?

Actually, HE turned THEM down... I saw it on his webpage in a link through www.imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com) a few months ago... so know what you're talking about before you blame the studios please... Also MHT... you're a fucking bitch for ruining the movie to anyone who hasn't seen it yet... you cock.

Overall, GREAT movie... let's hope they make a 4th! : ) (or restart the series witha new story like they did Batman)

im sure more have spoiled worse on these forums, than me saying cyclops died. i saw someone say the last scene after the credits. that my friend is ruining the movie. so who cares.

Uhmm, Psylocke wasn't the chick that could run fast, That is who I'm assuming you think she was. That was Calisto, leader of the morlockes had an eye-patch in the comics. And the porcupine guys name was Quil.

im sick of hollywood making freakin movies about our war in iraq, TWC, and the 9/11 crash in PA...i just think its fuckin wrong to make a profit off such horrible events, and the only way i feel that these movies would be justified is if 90 % of the profit goes towards war families, or peoples families who were lost in 9/11

angels & demons is far superiour to the dāvinci code. i am actually in italy right now. i visted a few of the sites that were in the book last week in rome. it was pretty interesting to see the spots that i had imagined. makes the stories a lot less believable. i honestly dont like the books that much, im just very interested in the stories.

Fanboy grievances:
-Colossus is Russian
-Rogue's character is completely wrong and her story is totally ass backwards
-Gambit
-Sentinels (the fucking danger room scene doesn't count)
-Angel was an ORIGINAL x-man
-There's more...but I can't think of them
-FUCKING SENTINELS!

I'm just saying of all X-Men to pick, Gambit/Bishop/Forge in terms of importance and/or seeming ability to fit the movie situation absolutely suck. Bishop's power is to suck kinetic energy out of people and send it back at them? That would transfer well to film. Forge's power to build anything known or unknown to man? Yeah, he would have totally ROCKED as a film X-Men. They need people with easily visual powers, and everyone there had it. They did a good job with their choices. Gambit I just don't want because every person and their brother wants him but he has absolutely NO storyline available to him in the story. He would just be a toss in. You need to add characters out of necessity, not just for the point of adding them. They added all kinds of villains, but they don't have the necessity factor. For example, they added Kitty/Shadowcat because they wanted to make a love triangle to force Rogue into her decision. Or they added Beast because they wanted to have someone be a liason to the government for Mutants, and last time I checked, Gambit was never so scholarly, at least not as scholarly as Hank McCoy or shit, even Logan. Are you beginning to grasp what I'm talking about Tauren boy? Oops...War Chieftain boy.

i heard somewhere that there is just going to be a wolverine movie. where he goes to find out exactly where he is from and the metal (forget the type) inside of him is from and stuff. I am confused too, i thought that the Xmen series and least the animated series ended the way this movie unfolded, but the end chess scene shows possibility of a fourth. im confused and excited. And i didn't see the bonus scene either, my friend messaged me on im instead of my cell phone telling me to stay i dont see the logic in that.

It was damn good. The best movie I've seen in a theatre since Episode III.

Wow. That sums it all up. God awful. I love you man. And I hope that help is on the way. Both these movies were ass.

xmen 3 is fuckin awesome. definitely the best of the series
'

you better not be fucking serious.
if you are than obviously your not a true x men fan, other wise youd know how much of a fucked up job they did on the characters and how shitty their introduction to the new ones were.

maybe how they gave the death scenes LITTLE FUCKING MEANING

This was the worst of the three or maybe tied with number one.

X2 will always be best goddamnit.

This place has such a rad comic book scene...

so very Close, but he did not paint it Red and Yellow when he returned to the State. IT was still grey and he relized the grey wasn't very heroic so he painted it Gold. Then later on he designed the Red & Yellow armor we see today. Also the original chest plate kept him alive because he had shrapnel in his heart.
Well, technically...I was right. I never said he perfected and painted it immediately when he returned to the states. I meant that he did those things when he got to states, eventually. Talking about his early adventures with the gold suit when he kicked giant alien cave man robot asses seemed cool yet somewhat irrelevant. So ha! I win! ::does lame victory dance::

I know about the chest plate which enables his heart to beat. I also know it was eventually replaced by an articfical heart. But I was just going for the basic differences between Iron Man's and War Machine's suits and left that part out.

Curious. What do you think about the Extremis upgrade which integrated the Iron Man armor to Tony Stark's nervous system and enables him to connect, hack, and manipulate computer systems by just thinking about it?

Personally, between the Extremis, his interesting yet completely rational stance on Civil War, his inevitable hookup with Agent Hill of SHIELD, and his inevitable betrayal of Spider-Man; Iron Man is quickly becoming one of my favorite Marvel characters.

I Know Iron man is becoming a Bad ass. I'll disscuss this more in the comic thread.

no im not. its 2006, not 1970, i think any effects are possible in movies today. especially in all the super hero/comic book movies that are coming out a dime a dozen. you have to have the best effects or storylines in your comic book turned big screen movie otherwise the fans will rip it a part. ( kind of like x-men 3, and im sure there will be more comic book movies hated on in the future ) i can already say im not a fan of the new superman movie because superman is overplayed. its just a matter of opinion
