Dashboard Confessional (http://www.absolutepunk.net/dashboardconfessional) recently stopped by AOL Sessions to perform three songs. They include Don't Wait (off of Dusk And Summer), Vindicated, and In A Big Country (cover). You can see the episode here (http://music.aol.com/videos/sessions/sessions_flash.adp?defaultCovers=57 1,559,552&defaultID=571?icid=fri:dl3).

The violinist's name is Susan Sherouse, and yes, she is in John Ralston's band.
they pretty much sounded great. better than the recordings even.

HOly shit!
Am I the only one who thinks John Lefler beefed the fuck up?
Its funny, I went through the AOL Sessions archives and noticed one of the dudes in "The Fray" is a spitting image of the lead singer of Thrice

even the haters can't say he sounds bad live.
Good stuff. Love the cover. That song just makes me laugh simply because of the name and the band's name.

No....I think the sound is amazing...it makes all of the songs sound epic...which is amazing....Dashboard started with one guy and a guitar and has evolved into an epic sound......Sure the solo Chris was more personal and intimate, but Dashboard has worked long and hard and is amazing and their music needs to blow up to epic proportions....and I think they have almost achieved that sound with all of this

not gonna lie, used to hate the idea of chris making his one man show into a huge band, but he def is amazing... now he added a chick with a violin in this song, and maybe the cd... i like it... PS chris lost weight not gonna lie he looks like an anorexic
