maybe it's just me, but I love all the pixar movies... they all are classics to me, maybe with the exception of the Incredibles, but they all are highly enjoyable and can be watched time and time again... Im hoping that Cars continues the pixar tradition

yeah Incredibles is awesome...Finding Nemo is definitely a good movie too though. I'm not so sure about Cars, the previews aren't very enticing.

i think i didnt like the incredibles as much because it dealt with people instead of like worlds we aren't normally a part of... but of course it was still excellent... and my favorite, which is extremely hard to pick, is probably finding nemo... but i read some reviews for cars that said the previews looked horrible but that the movie was a lot different and still held the pixar charm

the fact that larry the cable guy is a voice makes me not interested in this movie at all.
i can't hear him talk without wanting to shoot myself in the face.

I liked the animated genre when it first came out. Finding Nemo and Shrek were great but how many can they squeeze out of the same plot.

Pixar can do no wrong. It's incredible (no pun intended).

are you on glue?
1)When you say animated genre I assume you mean 3D animated films, because you were -72 when the first animated film was made. Also, you were 5 when Toy Story came out so you probably liked it because it looked like your toys were alive.
2)The fact that it's animated has nothing to do with the plot.
3)Pixar's movies have not declined in quality one bit since Toy Story, regardless of which one is your favorite. They spend years on their script instead of companies like Dreamworks and Blue Sky, which simply throw scripts together and sign whatever big names they can.
4)On a technical level Pixar's films are leaps and bounds beyond what the other big studios are doing. There are some lighting and rendering techniques used on Cars that would make your head explode if you knew anything about 3D software.

I'm far from a know-it-all, but I just finished a masters from NYU in 3D modeling/animation, so I HAVE to rip apart a retarded statement like that.

I was speaking about 3-D animated genre. Whenever I see a promo for a new 3-D animated movie the plots seem to be similar. I wasn't ragging on Pixar because their movies are better, but it looks like every month some company comes out with some 3D movie with the same plot with B list actors doing the voices and it gets old. I would take a new disney non 3-D animated movie than a 3-D film any day.

Probably because you aren't retarded.
