i put Atlanta because the eastern divison isnt all that great and you never know if they can get some good young talent. all they have to do is have one decent season

definitely atlanta, with the D-Rays second. knicks are hopeless, and im a knicks fan. royals..
the hawks have some great young guards in joe johnson and josh smith. i really like the way both these guys play, and they complement each other well, as smith is a great defender/rebounder and johnson is a great scorer/passer. marvin williams will have another year under his belt and if they can have a good draft (they need big men i think) who knows. the east pretty much sucks
the D-rays have some great young hitters in crawford, wiggington, gomes, and cantu, not to mention rocco baldelli (if he can ever get healthy). if they acn build any kind of rotation around kazmir they could be competitive. problem is, theyre in a division with the red sox and yankees and only 4 teams from each league make the playoffs, so it will be a challenge for them

Yeah, Tampa. New York is fucking terrible, and Isiah is a tool. They have no chance until they land Oden. No way in hell for either MLB team, there aren't enough postseason spots. Even with Delmon, Upton, Gomes, Crawford, Cantu, etc. I don't see Tampa ever being better than either the Sox or Yanks.
Royals will have a nice middle of the order with Huber, Butler, Gordon; and Andrew Brown in the rotation with Greinke, but it will take quite a few more #1 draft picks before they're playoff contenders.

Thanks for stealing everything I was thinking
Josh Smith is a freak on defense. They definitely have a nice 1-2-3 with Johnson, Smith, Williams.

i hope not the hawks, for future first round picks given to the suns haha, but id say they have the best chance

The Blackhawks are bad as well.
KS will never make it, never ever.

I was gonna add Penguins and Blackhawks to the poll too..but I figured 4 horrible horrible teams would be better than 4 horrible teams and 2 bad ones.

my pick as well. d-rays are in a tough division with the yankees and red sox and possibly toronto if they can spend money on non-injury proned pitchers and dump about 184 of their corner infielders.
KC Royals have no farm system to speak of. And it's tough to build those quickly. so they're done for a while.
Knicks. well, enough said there.

TAMPA WILL NEVER EVER MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.
ARE YOU PEOPLE SERIOUS?
yeah the red sox, yankees AND blue jays are all going to simultaneously collapse in one season and the d-rays will swoop in and make the playoffs
right.
also, im banging jessica alba.
the most obvious choice is the hawks. the eastern conference sucks.

tampa has no chance because of the division they are in and the owner they have. The NBA teams are easily 1st and 2nd because it's easier to make the playoffs in the NBA and playing field is leveled considerably in comparison to MLB. With that said, Atlanta is obviously in better shape then NY right now, so it's gotta be them.
