take about a resurgence. I thought this guy was on a steady decline but he's totally turned it around. I think Petersen, the pitching coach, has something to do with it.
He's a legit Cy Young contender if he keeps this up (but Webb is running away with the race right now).

he came in 2004. Glavine went 11-14 but had an ERA of 3.60. Last year, he had that awesome 2nd half and wound up 13-13 with a 3.53 ERA.
His awful year was the year before Peterson got there.

more like 2. He was in Oakland before that. He was heralded for the job he did with the A's staff

peterson also said he could make victor zambrano a good pitcher in 10 minutes and that he thought kazmir was 3 years away from being ready ....
mets fans know how that went. so he isnt all good news.

hopefully glavine winds up throwing a no-no or else this game has no business being the Game of the Week. Especially since its in that dreadful Marlins Stadium.

people on this board need to learn not to say the word "no-hitter"

NEVER mention a no-hitter in progress

I'm not supersticious. I doubt Tom Glavine is going to give up a hit because I mentioned the no-no in an AP thread. Come on.

yeah. ahead of brett hull. glavine was 4th round #69, hull was 6th round #117. and glavine had told nhl scouts he wasn't playing pro hockey, ever.
he was also drafted ahead of cliff ronning (#134), Don Sweeney (#166), Luc Robitaille (#171), and Gary Suter (#180).
