Winter Passing - This has been discussed recently and everyone loves it.
Match Point - One of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Brilliant acting and a great plot. I never thought I'd be into Woody Allen but he has struck gold. 10/10
Chumscrubber - It reminded me alot of Donnie Darko, but was a much better movie in my opinion. The girl from When a Stranger Calls is in it, but she has short hair and looks damn hot.
Thumbsucker - Just finished watching this one, a great cast combined with an excellent story. You really feel for the character and all the problems he's going through.
I may write formal reviews later, but if you need ideas on movies to rent here are four that come with my highest recommendation.

It blew my mind how incredible it was. It was just perfect, I love British films and like I said the story and the acting made it awesome.

im reading this and i cant believe that we watched the same movie. I just saw that movie two weeks ago. It was boring, the main character seemed to have no chemistry with anybody else, and the film just annoyed me by the end. At least the tennis action was better than it was in Wimbledon, haha.

no, and she's against nudity I believe. she's topless but laying on the bed.

it may not be your favorite movie ever, but i highly doubt it will disappoint you. you should really put winter passing at the top of your list, many people (including me) rave about it.

Saying that The Chumscrubber is just like Donnie Darko is really selling that movie short. They really aren't that much the same, the plots are extremely different, and it isn't fair to either movie to really say that. I like both movies, but honestly they aren't that much the same.
The book Thumbsucker is about ten times better than the movie, if not more. I would have loved the movie had I read the book afterwards, but sadly that isn't how it happened. They changed the ending so much it becomes almost a different story, and had they stuck to the book it would have been so much better. You should really read it.

yeah i was just referencing the hallucinations to give people an idea. i think chumscrubber is way better, although donnie darko is still good.

Lots of people, when the movie first came out, didn't want to go see it because they were saying that it ripped off Donnie Darko. I guess I just don't want people to not give a movie a chance because of something like that, since both are good movies.

Very interesting subject matter with the dad for the time that movie was made. Even though that was only like 5-6 yrs ago you didn't see a lot of stuff like that at the time.
