This is one case where the original songs first conceived by a band far outweighs their output so far. Doesn't happen too often, but I do believe it to be fitting here. Straylight have so far gone downhill since the excitement of those demos.

No way. I can understand people prefering their early stuff to the newer music but to say they've gone so far down hill is ridiculous. The Needles, The Space was brilliant, if given a proper chance. Their new EP's without Michelle are fantastic as well. That's why I love the band, because no release is the same and they continue to evolve with each one.

s/t is amazing, and tnts is where they had the perfect balance of everything, music was killer, and i love the lyrics. it's a toss up, but for today i gave it to the needles the space.
